This is bitter sweet..! is there a Law you HAVE to get your babies ears pierced? NOPE! A parent simply inflicting mindless pain not heir children because it's something 'they' want.. It looks cute! FFS.... This has been going on for decades & I have never understood it...
@@Wraith1283probably not. i had my ears pierced as a baby, i dont wear earrings but the holes never closed so i could if i wanted. the baby will not remember it at all. its a weird choice to make, but not a bad choice. the only thing i would say is that they should be doing these piercings with better equipment. lol imagine the chaos if people started giving their babies eyebrow piercings or tattoos. though being permanently tattooed as a baby would be much worse, than having two holes in your ears. as a kid i thought everyone had them and that we were born with those holes and maybe some others arent. ive never felt embarrassed or judged or even cared that my ears were pierced. im just happy it was at a time i couldnt remember, and that i have the option at least. i assume parents who pierce their childs ears had the same happen to them and probably think the way im thinking right now. theres no trauma associated with it but ive seen people try to claim they feel victimised and that their rights and autonomy were taken from them, to that i say hawk tuah
Awww dad ❤🥰. It never stops either. My husband took our oldest to his first day of daycare because I couldn’t do it . He called me saying I didn’t know this was gone be so hard 😢. We just dropped him off at college this year and when got home we both cried ❤❤️❤️

It’s ok to cry dad. I cried if my daughters and granddaughters got their ears pierced and cried when they all got shots at the drs. When they hurt I hurt. 🥰
My daughter was about 6 when she had her ears pierced, it was an exciting event for her. I don’t like it when babies have pierced ears because it can hurt them
So you don’t think that it hurt your 6 year old daughter? The difference is that baby won’t even remember that pain but your 6 year old daughter definitely will.
@@KM-vz3ee she wanted them done, it was a exciting event and made her feel grown up. A choice she wanted and something to look forward too. She didn’t cry with pain. Also why pierce a baby’s ears because the mum wants it done, what’s the problem with waiting when they have their own mind and look forward to it. 🙄
I don't understand why parents put a baby through this. Wait until they're old enough to consent and understand. The babies are scared and in pain. If you really gave a rats ass you wouldn't do it in the first place. You're not doing it for the baby, you're doing it for you, for selfish reasons. No baby needs earrings in the first place. The ear piercer was extremely annoying with her big mouth. She was goofing on the dad and embarrassing him. Children need more fathers like this. He is a rare commodity.
For me, it's a double-edged sword yes he had emotions and showed it 💯 I applaud him for being able to do that nothing wrong with him crying here comes the but and it's just my opinion. one it should be against the law to do this with small babies, you don't know if the gun what ever its called has been cleaned properly 💯 and it might be but you're in a shopping centre full of people the last person's dna might still be on it they might have TB, u don't know whats on her clothing that might have brush on her hands or on your baby, that is not a place to put holes put in a babies ears this shouldn't be allowed that anyone can do this. What if the baby had a reaction what would the women do did u ask if she was qualified to do First Aid, would the shopping centre be liable for someone with a pop-up stall I could go on but are your entitled to do what u want but please think about those things in the future. I can't see if you have had yours done if not u should have had yours done first as u didn't feel pain all that for some cheap gold plated studs. On any other note my jamaican father did my not sure when but i have a photo when i was 1 and i had studs and it was done with a needle and thread he just burned the end of the needle and bingo i had thread in my ears for how manys weeks to keep the hold open before he put the studs so who am i to talk 😆 🤣 😂 😹
My son came to me at age 6 and wanted his ear pierced I told him it's going to hurt but he still wanted it done.. So he got it done a year later he wanted it out so out it came.. It has to be the child's choice in my opinion

The ears are pierced with a earring that is not dull. Also, the mother could have applied a pain killer on her ear which would have reduced the pinch. It is best to do it when she is less than three months old because they do not have the coordination to play with it and the nerve endings in their ears are not developed as older babies and children. So there is less pain.
