Been wondering lately if Sage somehow took on an appearance of Maria's younger form from Eggman's family database. That'd be pretty deep to be the case along side with her being considered a daughter.
I highly doubt since the appearance was because of the Ancients technology that somehow gave her her body, and the Ancients have nothing related to Maria
Actually, people started playing with the idea of Eggman being a father after the release of Sonic Mania (and so, Omelette/Eggette was born) The only difference is that now is canon 😮
If Kratos the God Of War who killed plenty of gods and always angry now became a Father who just say "boy" all the time now than I think any character would end up being a dad at one point or another
Here's what I find interesting. When Sage is in her evil form, she looks similar to Shadow, but when she is more emotional or friendly she glitches into a form similar to Silver.
Didn’t Sonic team change Eggman Nega’s backstory to being a direct descendant of normal Eggman? Does that mean Sage somehow continues Eggman’s bloodline?
@@TheKaizoMario I gets even weirder when you look at the Egg Memos & get to the one involving creating life. Eggman implies he could create life without using code as well. Personally I think he could digitize/un-digitize his own DNA (with someone else’s maybe) to create Sage’s new body.

Younger siblings get spoiled by the parents while the elder siblings get scolded much more. So I can think that Eggman must be angry at Metal Sonic for failing to defeat Sonic, but he is more forgiving towards Sage.
Sage really is like Maria, imagine if Shadow met her. I have a strong feeling this will be CANON after watching the secret ending with Dr. Eggman bringing her back to life.
Daily reminder that Eggman and Shadow's voice actors confirmed long time ago Shadow and Eggman do NOT see each other as relatives. Shadow is NOT part of Robotnik's family. He still keeps a great respect for his creator and also it’s confirmed that only Maria is the closest thing he ever felt to love PS: this was so cutee
Imagine if the Sonic Colors Ultimate shorts with how Cubot kept calling Metal “Big Bro” actually led up to this whole Egg Family dynamic with Eggman being the parent to his children Metal, Orbot, Cubot and Sage.
I wonder if Metal Sonic is jealous of Sage, since Eggman cares a lot about her, even though there were some instances where Eggman considered Metal Sonic as his own son.
I was really hoping for someone to make a comic for metal and sage and for the VA too oh this make me a bit happy for theory of metal and original plus the shadow one
Fun headcannon I have: Eggman at this point knows that he's never going to succeed at his goals of world domination, so he more just tries to see how far he can get before Sonic beats him. Also he's very much dad to Metal, Sage, Cubot, and Orbot
I’m surprised no one‘s talking about how sonic sage which appears as an energy construct Who helps the main group defeat the villain is similar to that of sage of battle force five a sentient energy construct who also helped the main team defeat the villains. Sage even at the end of the game becomes blue and she was red showing both red and blue sentient!
Omg that's true Shadow has Robotnik DNA in him so in a way he's part of the Eggman family tree, and since Eggman sees Sage as a daughter, the family tree extends
