Father Greg Boyle speaks on Radical Compassion and Acceptance at the inaugural Radical Disruptors event held at The Grove in Los Angeles, hosted by Giselle Fernandez and co-produced by Giselle Fernandez and Michelle Burton.
Father Boyle is one of the best examples of a living, breathing modern version of the actions Christ preached in Action daily. Do all you can to help him.
AND, he's the best because he doesn't see himself that way. He's not "saving", he's not fixing. He says that himself. He has created a community in the real sense....people who now love and reach out to each other. He loves people into wholeness, so now they're stronger and taking on the leadership! That's what so many are missing.... he's not the king of Homeboys. He's raising up leaders to take his place. THAT is what makes him different. He is healing people to put himself out of business.
Father Boyle really is an outstanding example of leadership that takes those who society feels is worthless and turns misfortune into positivity he is a true disciple of Our Lord. Thank you Father Gregory Boyle, S.J. ❤
I have no idea why I have never heard of this man before now? He, and all the others like him, are so important to humanity as a whole. To fix what needs fixing, to cure what needs curing, to help those who so desperately need it. One individual at a time. So now, when I begin to lose faith in the goodness of people, I will think of Father Boyle, and realize there is hope for us as a species. That we are better together than alone. That love will triumph over hate. Adios.
So powerful. I found myself giving up but in darkness there is a speck of light In that light there is hope That light was her..... 9 pounds and 22 inches God is great
Charles Manson used the same defense. The Bible says no one is good and our hearts are desperately wicked. Jesus loves you no matter where you are at. When you can own up to your own sinful nature and spell God with a capital "G", you will see the desperate condition of man and our need for Jesus to rule over all of us. All have sinned and fall short of God's approval, but if we confess our sins and repent, we will go to heaven.
Amén Brother... There's Always a Way Out... I Also Grew Up In Gangs In East L.A That's All I knew... But I Thank God I'm Here Today... I lost alot of homies...
Amazing work, Father Boyle and Homeboy Ind.!! And, Mario, you are a great man- look how far you've come. You have a beautiful family now. Raise your children the way you want them to be raised, not the way the world wants them to be raised. 😄😍
Mario i don't know you but I hope that i can meet alot of you at homeboy. Don't let nobody put you or your family down because like I always said no one is perfect. So what i can say to you and others is to keep up the great work and God bless you. San Jose Ca
That's right father G all respects to you my man! Remember when you would visit us in SR(cya) in Norwalk. I really appreciate you still going strong for our RAZA homes
Goddam... I'm crying before work... this video needs a disclaimer or something haha. For real though God bless Fr Boyle for his work, and may He lift up all those who need it
You can get a Job you can get Work Money Education but that’s not heal you Love Compasión is what heals you and that definitely change your destiny and your generations Thank you!
It’s unfortunate gangs require one to develop a persona for survival and acceptance purposes, and ultimately causes life failures. Those young years are the most important for success. I pray one day our Raza will wake up, mass educate, and unite for the greater good.
I file that under business ( Christianity never was communist folks 😂) cuz it's the only kind of business I want to start and I had advertising companies etc. Your business is giving chances and not fake it and I salute you and thank you : for inspiration! 🤗🤗🤗

i love your videos, and i wish i could agree that their are no evil men, but i work at a criminal insane asylum. I have seen pure evil, murders, rapers, pedophiles. Some came from great lives, and were like this from the start.
The gang culture is getting stronger than ever specially with the new generation music and life style. Drugs and guns.. I'm from city in M.A. and I can see it here .. IF U AIN'T GANGGANG..u not litty ..lol.. The jail system if one the most profitable..
Really sad to hear of such a horrific experience for you friend. HOWEVER, the way to redemption is never through violence or coercion, but through acceptance and love. Is it really crazy to love and forgive?
