Heck, this really hit me. My parents, mostly my dad, have forced me to choose between being a doctor or an engineer. They told me that they'd support any decision I'll make for the engineer as that's what I told them because basically I'd rather die than be a doctor, so I asked if they'd support me even if I say I don't want to be either, but guess what, they said no. This has been happening ever since I was 4 and because of this, I'm not so sure on what I really want. I mean, I'd love to be an astronaut, artist or police but they just started scolding me for those choices. Thinking of making my parents hate me so that they won't care to choose what they "know" is best for me, since they won't care. Edit: Damn I'm cringing-

Parents should not force the children to follow a group which the child is not interested in it. They have their own dreams.

It happen to me i scored ssc with first class 1995 it was highest in my family . Highest in my family friend who stays nr my locality their children also appeared for ssc and they always use to boast about their children show my minus point in front of my parents when i got first highest then there children inside they were felt jealous but outside they were smiling. After my ssc i joined t college later my mother started grumbling on me" why r u not going to job always eating no use of getting degree no guarantee u will get a job or not .During college vacation i was sent to work in aircondition workshop that i left due to bullying then again i was sent to Auto garage ,even my elder sister was not supporting me my brotherinlaw bfr marriage with my sister he only tells let him study but my mother was insistant to send me to work.During Hsc pressure increased at home daily my mother grumble again i was send to garage telling no use of getting degree, my father use to never give me pocket money even i was studying in hsc they use to grumble at me i become weak in study i failed in hsc 1st attempt i joined aircondition workshop there i suffered bullying abuse bcause most of them r uneducated they use to taunt me what t use of ur studying later in garment factory as a helper. Later i learnt the family friend who stays nearby they visit our home they use to poison my mother ear telling send him to work no use to getting degree.later their children has completed degree and got a good job.later i left t college after clearing my hsc 3rd attempt joined corresspondence was still struggling no good job no decent pay .i even had quarrel with my father when my father said i send u to college to study u didnt i replied "every day u people was grumbling go to work now i am going " my father got angry . But my younger brother i saw they didnt put t same pressure like me he went to college completed t study .now my parents is blaming me for leaving t college and joining t correspondence

Actually some parents want their children to earn for their parents luxury, this parents always pretend to be their well wisher but they are children's worst enemy.

I'm seeing for the first time that a father is forcing his daughter to dance. Dance should not be taken as a burden but as a passion. If one doesn't like dancing, it's ok, none should be forced. I'm lucky that my parents don't force me to do something, either in career, or in dance.

In the UK this would be considered child abuse. Representations are being made to the UK parliament to stop parents from forcing their children going into careers they don't want. If they do and the student drops out of the university in question the parents have to refund the university the lost fees. Under the proposals, they will face 3 months imprisonment and if the student commits suicide they'll face charges of manslaughter. I have seen 8 Indian students kill themselves over this.

Hello sir, Sir meri beti 9th class me hai aur wo bilkul bhi nahi padh rahi hai, 15 days baad uske final exams hain aur ab bhi wo sara din ph me lagi rahti hai, raat ko der tak ph me lagne ke karan subah online classes bhi nahi le pati class me so jati hai, starting se hi tuition lagai thi (offline) khud hi drop kar di, home tuition lagai nahi padhi wo bhi sorry kah gaye, ab koi tuition bhi nahi hai, online classes ki wajah se ph bhi dena padta hai, ph chheen leti hoon to bahut tamasha karti hai, bahut baat kar li, samjha liya, failure ke concequences bhi bata diye koi fark nahi padta, ulta seedha bolti hai, dis respect karti hai, Ghar ka sara mahaul kharaab ho raha hai, badi beti graduation ke 2nd year hai wo properly padhti hai, but is tarah se uski padhi bhi disturb hoti hai, me bahut pareshan hoon aur meri tension ka asar poore ghar pe pad raha hai, pure saal ki padhai kharaab kar li ab 15 din baki hain ab bhi apni puri mehnat nahi laga rahi hai, fail ho jaungi to mar jaungi kahti hai aur mehnet bhi nahi karni, kya karoo kuchh samajh nahi aa raha hai. The videos send beautiful messages. But am I the only who thinks the plot seems predictable for all videos? Like there are two people..."A" and "B". "A" behaves badly and ill-treats "B". Sometime later, situation occurs when "A" is in trouble and it is none other than "B" who helps "A". And "A" regrets behaving badly with "B" and a happy ending...Makes me wonder if "A" regrets their actions only because "B" helped them. For instance, one of the videos in which a lawyer treated an acid attack survivor badly. But she saved the day for him in office. So the lawyer regretted his behaviour. Makes me wonder if he regretted only because she helped him...

She looks like 13-14 years old child , not 8 year old kid.. why they used elder child to play the role of kid. I don't understand which 8 year old kid had 5 feet height
