In this video I talk about what fatherhood has meant to me and 5 lies that we a fed about fatherhood. I strongly believe that children need their fathers and men need to stand up and fight for what's beautiful, good, and true.

I agree with you, as a person who grew up without a father i can speak from experience that a father is so important just like the mother, i remeber i use to hear a lot of women say i dont need no man growing up i alway thought that talk was foolish because those woman are only saying those things to project there bitterness towards men, women who say thoses things dosent realize how that talk effects young girls too when i use to go to Elementary School young girls would alway say i want to be a single mother like its a career and i alway use to alway think to myself why not a wife and a mother but those are only saying that they didnt haven a good father figure in the home. Thats why i made a promise to myself to get married and be a father one day

That’s good to hear that you want to give to your children something that you lacked. I think that’s what every good parent wants to provide to their children. Better than what they had.

Actually, the father is more important than the mother in terms of the prospects of how well the child does in life. Single fathers produce better children than single mothers and they actually produce as good or better children than two parent homes.

I agree with everything you said about men's role in history, the importance of the children, and the destruction of the nuclear family by feminism through indoctrination. But damn, this is a very very risky topic for you to chose, man. Since you're an art channel, I suspect most of your viewers are left leaning, maybe even women. I hope you don't take too big of a hit from this, because it is indeed an important topic. ❤ However, I'm a man and without children. I have my reasons. But I wish I could have healthy children to raise with a strong traditional woman. A present father is the most important factor in a child's prospects in life. I grew up with a father who became more and more distant, choosing his new girlfriend and her three kids (not his) - I'm his only child. It has shaped me a lot.

Glad to see that some people agree. As far as it being a risky topic that is why I think it is so important to speak up. When those on the sane side self censor then people become more and more afraid to tell the truth and we’re seeing where that leads to. “Do what is right let the consequence follow.“ As far as becoming a father I can’t recommend it enough. It is essential to find a good woman with shared values which can be difficult but is worth the search. Your situation is tragically common nowadays. We need more good fathers and intact families.

@@AndrewJosephKeith - I agree with you on the self-censoring. I always speak my mind and heart, I don't give a rats ass who I offend. But I haven't got a platform like you, which can take a hit from it - I'm just a random guy. I've got a lot of respect for you to use your platform for this message, I just hope it doesn't harm your sub count. My background and multiple reasons not to pursue having kids or even a woman is complicated and multi-faceted. I don't think it's something to talk openly about online, but overall I don't think it to be the responsible choice in terms of the welfare of the kids. Besides, there's a good chance I can't even have kids, so there's that too. And my faith in loyal women today is basically non-existant, a mere fantasy, a mythical creature of the past. But mostly I don't pursue, because of my own flaws and inadequacies, which makes me doubt I'm a worthwhile partner, when seeing what women in general seek in a man.

You remind me of this verse: “Women have rights similar to those of men equitably, although men have a degree of responsibility above them” - 2:228 I always wished for a kid because it would give me a lot more reason to live for and get my life together. I read a statistic of 63% of young men are single compared to 34% of young women. “I don’t need no man” mentality is hurting young men from becoming fathers. Our birth rate is at an all time low.

Yeah the birthrate decline is a huge problem worldwide. People don't see the value in children anymore.

I watch your channel for the art, but I like that you speak about your attitudes and opinions. I think that is a part of being an artist. I don’t agree with you with everything, though. I don’t believe it is a battle between traditional and non traditional families. I think good people make good families. We should strive to be good people and the rest will unfold naturally. Your example of children from complete families ranking better is a typical example of confusing correlation and causation. Good people tend to have good families that tend to bring up happy and successful children. Traditional family is a likely consequence, not a necessary precondition. I am happy to see that you are grateful for growing up in a good family and having your own family. People not blessed with such luck might deserve our help and compassion instead of distaste, rejection and accusations. That is how I understand the message of christianity.

nice you want to debate with people. People who say they are child free, mostly say it to cobe with the pain of not being able to have children. it is only a survival strategy. And come up with all kinds of explanations, when people ask, why you don't have them. And it is nice that you have so many children, now I could not. generally I would not judge right and wrongs, because there are as many reasons as there are people. parenting classes is a good thing, so people get the right idea of how hard it is to race a child. It is not a doll.

men stop victimising themselves - impossible challenge. the traditional family structure would be great if men actually did protect and not, in fact, destroy everything around them.

Everything you see around you in your home, and actually your home as well, was invented and created by men. The whole infrastructure of modern civilization is created and maintained by men. Stop projecting your bad choices in men onto the entire population of men, you are the common denominator if all your past relationships have turned sour. Look inward.

@@3cc290 Everything that keeps society going was primarily built and is maintained by men, (inventions, tech, infrastructure, farming, construction, plumbing, electricity etc). Fatherless homes have the worst outcomes of any other demographic. the exact opposite of what you would expect if “men destroy everything around them”. Your ingratitude and bigotry against men is not backed up by the actual data and historical observations. Bigotry is rarely rational though I guess.

@@AndrewJosephKeith ever wonder why most of those children are fatherless? where did the father go? the stats on cheating and husbands leaving their wives after a serious medical diagnosis are available for free online. fathers are the first to abandon their family and children in case of inconvenience. i don’t see any protectiveness or chivalry in that. most men, unfortunately, aren’t fit to be good parents because they were raised with the notion that the world revolves around them.
