Please come home is 1 of my favorite songs. Got the cords down but not the rhythm. Lol Hell of a song. Meet Jack several times very nice man. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Bill.

I saw Bill perform in 1969 in Camp Springs N.C. when he was reunited with Red Smiley..amazing man. I will never forget..

Thank you for posting this. Over 20 years ago, when I was about 4-5 years old, I used to watch a performance of Bill Monroe that my great-grandmother taped. I would sit on her table next to her flowers, and sing the first song on this video, "I Haven't Seen Mary in Years" to the top of my lungs. She always joined in, and growing up, she would always tell that story to anyone who would listen. This morning my grandmother passed away. I was upset because I couldn't think of the song or how it went. Thankfully, I found the song and your video. I heard that song for the first time in a long, long time, and I cried thinking of singing that song with her. Thank you again for posting. It brought great memories.

Thank you, thank you for posting this. It is my favorite album of all time and it's not available digitally, to my knowledge. I have the album but no way to convert it to mp3...all that to say that now I can listen to it online, thanks to your taking the time to post it.

I'm Chuck Campbell. I was Mr. Bill's and James Booker and Mgr. I wrote the liner notes for this album. I thought I was gonna bust at the seams when they asked me to write these words. Listening to You Tube makes me want to return to what I do best.. Bill nicknamed me "Chuck, the Booker the best". I could tell you many wonderful stories about them both. Listen to James very closely.
