If you've not heard Jethro Tull before they are certainly not your normal rock band. Flute, classical guitar, orchestral arrangements etc used to great effect. Each of their albums has a different 'theme'/style and variety even in an album means you're almost guaranteed to like something (usually all). I would recommend the Heavy Horses album, specifically 'No Lullaby' track.
I totally disregarded this song back when it was big. 1976 I believe. I was 14. I was more into Peter Frampton. It wasn't til years later I caught on to Tull and listened with both ears that I got what he was talking about about. And that flute!!! So cool!!!
Jethro Tull is my favorite band of al time, I am 51 and they have been a thing since I have been born. Saw JT once live in like the 8th row, Ian is scary up close when he is in character
