He won a grammy so he is clearly a fantastic musician capable of playing various musical instruments and arranges and produces music. LJ is so intelligent, a lil genius. Definitely a child prodigy and already composing instrumentals.

LJ def has natural skills. It could be seen when he was 2. I was amazed. In a good 5 years I want to hear him and here he is! And his parents are great teachers too. I love the way Dad plays and how Mama sings. What a family! All that music in one place.

LJ is so "poised (is that a good term??) as he records and creates with Dad. I love that he is still a real "kid" with the awe and wonder of a 7 yr old. He us truly intuitive and "feeds" off Daddy's energy. God has truly blessed this family. Continue to acknowledge Him, and He will continue to direct, protect, gift and inspire. Love to all!❤❤❤❤

Every musical dads DREAM!!!! I record with my daughter in the studio and it’s the most fulfilling feeling ever. Especially when they have fun doing it and are just as excited at you. Who needs friends when you have them!!!

I really enjoy seeing the father and son interaction; you two have so much fun as you play your sessions; and I just LOVE the chords, dad! Listening to you two is like taking an enjoyable fun ride at an amusement park! The sound of rhythmical beats flow from the tube and fill my room with enjoyable listening--and CHORDS!

OH, MY GOODNESS!!!!!! That was simply amazing!!!!!! The pure, unadulterated joy on your faces!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!! But what really said it all was when Big Justin thought they reached the end, LJ said, "Daddy?" and went right back into it! Unbelievable. At 4 yrs old, it was just raw talent. Insane how far you've come along since then! How sophisticated and refined your drumming has become but you still retained your natural feel. So happy to see!!

I love to see how Justin tries out ideas and follows impulses. A lot of people are teaching child prodigies to do some sequence of motions as perfect as possible while giving them little space to experiment and develop. I'm glad that he has parents that understand that music is about much more than virtuosity.

Watching this little dude in his progression, I am wondering if you have ever watched any Carter Beauford. Now I might be biased on the whole thing since I am a lifelong fan of Dave Matthews Band, but in my opinion Carter Beauford is one of THE BEST drummers I have ever watched just on the way he can switch. I see alot of Carter Beauford in LJ.
