Yep. All the acrylic that I have purchased comes with a brown backer on both sides so it makes cutting no problem.

@@MSRWorkshop Have you cut clear, specifically? Some lasers just pass through the clear acrylic. The backing wont help. Just curious. I am thinking of buying a k40.

@tazanteflight8670 I dont know of any C02 laser that can’t cut acrylics. Diode lasers on the other hand. Definitely have problems cutting acrylic but not CO2 lasers.

K40 can definitely cut clear acrylic. I've cut 8mm thick clear cast acrylic in a single pass! Thinner sheets work better, but the K40 goes through acrylic like a hot knife in butter.
