I’ve have that extendable husky ratchet for about 7 years now and it’s never let me down! I have a pipe that fits the handle perfectly I’ve had to use a couple times in a pinch but I wouldn’t do that every time I use it. The low profile head of the ratchet was also exactly what I needed for Subaru spark plugs. Great video and information!
Good content. I have a little bit of a tool addiction and have been fully equipped with sockets, ratchets and ratching open wrenches, yet I came upon that $319 gearwrench set at a Home Depot nearby for $160!!! Clearance. Last one. I was looking for something else that they didn’t have and went to another depot 3 miles away to get it and and noticed that they still had the price of this unit at $319. I started to get worried that maybe it really was a good deal but had to go straight to work and couldn’t go back (it was the LAST one they had). All day at work I was regretting not buying it. There was another depot close to my office and I went there right after work and ALL of theirs were still $319. So on way home I went back in hopes it was still there. Sure enough, it was. Now I’m even more overstocked with these tools, but really like how it incorporates so many tools in a relatively small box, so thinking of maybe even throwing it in back of my truck or something.
Sounds like a good time to me. Maybe I’ll join you by slapping some Country Music 🎶 on and get my Tools sorted for what I’m going to need should I get hired by a dealership this week. 🙏🙂
I bought the quinn set last year on black friday, pretty decent set. Im just a home mechanic so i cant speak to if they would hold up to professional use every day.
Ive bought tools from everywhere i bought a gearwrench o2 sensor wrench set from home Depot its pretty good i bought a snapon one its a little better than the gearwrench one but surprisingly it slipped i bought one from matco and its a beast i put a pipe on for the ones that are stuck and hasn't slipped yet
Happy Fathers Day, Justin! I discovered to my dismay that the husky mechanics tool set I bought (2007) did not even have a 3/8" Drive deep 19mm or 3/4"...seriously?!
