This song is about love at first sight..the feeling of loving someone to the point that they are present in every single breath...he was singing about their first meeting the fond memories they shared, she was from another state, so when her father visit and accepted their love for each other he wanted to go back home prepare for the wedding unfortunately he met with accident and he died, and the girl has to go back to her hometown...this song is about loving someone and then losing them....the pain the hurt... I hope this helps put things into perspective...

@dalmarqaran they are Nigerians, speaking hausa, the song is actually based on a movie. it is about a guy who is in love with a girl fati, he was telling a story of how they met, and the unfortunate event of the death of her father and she had to go back to her home town...basically thats the main idea.
Merci d’avance!
My question is what part of northern nigeria are from?B'cos i had lived in kano and dutse before moving to the states. Now i live around security square area in baltimore county.
ok principlemajor, first of all, this music is for love that he dedicated to his lover fati. But the worst is,every girl that he sees,he thinks it's her just bcuz he loves her so much that he couldn't even control himself. So he saw her sister-inlaw and he thought it was fati when he went 2 her house.By the time, their love was so strong that even her dad knows that they love each other and he decided 2 go 2 Adamawa just 2 see her so her dad passed away.by the end he lists his family name as fati.
