Latin, Greek and Hebrew are the Anointed languages of the Church because Jesus spoke these languages and they are the 3 languages that were nailed to the titular above the crucifix…so if it’s good enough for Christ then it’s good enough for us. I started going to the LMS about a year and a half ago and I have never looked back, after a lifetime of attending the Novus Ordo there is no comparison because of the fullness of the liturgy. I experienced for the first time a real sense of the transcendent and the emphasis being about Christ and not just about us and our feelings.

@@josephineblaser6631 You really are badly misinformed - deliberately so by others - I'm sure. The idolatry of Latin is a sin, and believing that Latin is essential for the Liturgy is just stupidity. It is an evil person who has to defend the indefensible anachronism that is the old Latin Mass, by bad-mouthing the renewal of the Church's Liturgy - mandated by her highest authority. Why don't we back to the origins and have Mass like our Lord did, in a upper room furnished with couches? There were no altar rails then, no silk and lace vestments and certainly no Latin. That is the true Usus antiquior - so why did you change it?

Practically experienced the same thing back home… so sad

It is very sad to hear that... and very sad to see the faith in Europe, in Ireland. Ireland have a place in my heart because my teacher in high school is an Irish, Brother C.P. Gaffney. Here in my place in India we do not need to book for confession we can go anytime we want. I use to hear stories from Nuns and Priests who returned from Europe, Canada, and told us about the faith of the people there and the way they live is beyond my imagination. I do not know what will happen if I see it in real life. There are many Priests and Nuns from my community who are serving our Lord in Latin America, Canada, Europe and Africa. Here the Church size (building) is getting smaller.. There are 4 Mass every Sunday. One Mass is not enough to accomodate the faithful. With current restiction because of covid, we have 5 mass every Sunday. Now we are supplying Priest to the rest of the world :) And I thank God that we do not have gay priest. becuase such practice even among people in our community is a SIN. I will pray for Ireland. Where are you located?

My heart goes out to you. Everything is as normal as possible here.. we have had several new priests every year in our diocese, for a couple decades so no shortages. No masks required, no limits on attendance. Saturday morning is Latin mass. Feeling blessed.

So sad . The sacraments are a source of God's grace. Derelict priests will answer for much .

He who has ears, let him hear. It’s all out there. People who want to hear and follow and believe, do so. The rest do not want to. It’s our job to be that light of Christ. Let them be curious enough to ask us what makes us different and hopeful. You then can gently bring people to the faith. That is my mission, to do God’s will.

Same here. I just don’t feel right taking it in my hand and I grew up with novus Ordo on the hand most of my life. Since I started going to tlm for over two years now… I can’t go back to the hand. At least on Sunday’s I can receive on the tongue.

Confirmed at Trent. So Christ demanded we kneel and take the Host on the tongue. Which we did for 1932 years. So it is not up to you or this failed priest to contravene what Christ established. Put simple you are obviously an ignoramus, as is this failed priest, on Church tradition. You are products of Vatican II, a non doctrinal council, which was the final Talmudist communist infiltration of the Church. Poland was the heart post 1917 of Soviet infiltration into the Church. Over 1200 NKVD agents would become priests through Poland. So I take Faustina with a grain of salt. Garabandal apparitions are not yet approved, but are certainly plausible and are not condemned. As far as Communion, neither Pope Paul VI nor St. John Paul II wanted "in-hand" but it is nonetheless permitted now. Do the best you can and pray for our bishops.
