I know it's really sad. I don't understand why anyone would want to pierce their baby's ears. It's not that hard to wait till they're older.. I don't even have ear piercings. It's not mandatory whatsoever 😕

People should understand that being a parent doesn’t give them the right on their kids body. Piecing, along any other type of mutilation, is something that shall be individual decision only!

@@italiani41 There are a lot of things parents do for their kids which they believe they should because the child is incapable of making their own choice and doesn't know what's best for them. I have never seen anybody around me regretting having had their ears pierced at this age. I have never even heard of it. If you don't like it you have the option to not to do it your child but don't criticise other people for making a choice that is perfectly safe and reversible.

Pirsing, along with any other mutilation, isn’t correct practice because disrespectful to other human being when practiced without his/her consent. Period. Again isn’t a matter of being permanent or not. Is a matter of being in 2019 and not at the Stone Age where tribal practices were common because humanity at a tribal evolutive stage was. This is as well the reason why isn’t as well a matter of not having to stand up for kids’ right to respect even if they are not ours. This is called human rights, specifically children’s rights. Lastly, youtube, as any other SOCIAL media, is a place where anyone has the right to express their opinions and a meaning to share information and awareness. This is what I’m doing, in this instance to defend and promote an alienabile human rights such as children’s rights, little humans, but humans that have no voice to defend themselves. Priya Kumari It varies depending on the culture where you live. My wife, my daughter and my granddaughters all had their ears pierced before their first birthday. I live in New Orleans. Creoles and Cajuns pierce their daughters’ ears when they’re babies.
I agree there is no need to get a babies ears pierced. Also can be very dangerous at school. Children play earrings get caught, rips the ear..I have seen this many times in the schools where I have worked. I wouldn't put any child through this.
Whats the point of getting this piercing done at such a young age. They could have waited till she turns 10 or something and then ask her...if she wants it or not.... Poor Baby...😘😘
World will not run as per you want, it's their parents who will decide what she will do up to the age of 14 because they are raising her up by taking responsibilities of her, it's not others will decide just like your parents did for you and mine too.. At 10 she will have even more pain when her body will become tighter and heavier that's why most of the girls ears are pierced at this age only...
No thats only the correct age. As the skin z not that rough at that age n its so smooth. Thats y even in India ppl use to have this to their babied @ very young age say within a year or so... Its true that thry dnt feel that much pain at that age. May b she was scared fr gunshot that pain thats it...
Babies will not remember this, when they are older the skin is thicker and that makes the pain much more intense and! They will remember it! I was pierced when I was like 3 months old and I thank my mom all the time! Because I love earrings but I am a baby for piercings so thank God I already had them.
@@cosmicunicorn4744 Babies DO NOT need earrings. It is not beneficial to them whatsoever. It is the selfish benefit of the parents only. They won't remember the pain. REALLY?? It shock, pain, being restrained happened at the time!!! Also for the next several weeks the area needs to be cleaned at least twice daily on an area that is very tender. "Your skin gets thicker when you get older." Of course it does! The child can make the decision of IF they want them pierced as a teen!!
@@smkennelgirl we can talk and talk for hours and never come to an agreement but when it comes down to it its the parents choice, and its different parenting techniques it is their child and only theirs. I think my mom is greatest mom I have ever met and I would never think that she's any less because she chose to give me earrings before I could talk. Also take into consideration cultural traditions wether you agree with them or not.
Coming back after getting my baby’s ears pierced, she got them done months ago but honestly I see why people don’t want to do it. Honestly I am probably not gonna do it for my next baby, it was so sad, she didn’t cry because of the pain but the piercer made us hold her down so she wouldn’t move(to get the piercing perfect) and that made her cry so much. Never again ugh, I feel so horrible and sad that she went through that. She’s a super happy baby and I’m sure she doesn’t remember but never the less it happened.
