Fatoumata Diawara Interview - WMF2024 Mainstage 

On June 13th on the Mainstage of WMF2024, the primary stage of the Festival, we interviewed Fatoumata Diawara, international singer and performer, to discuss the role of Music for Culture and Inclusion.
“Most of the time I like to dance my problems, I like to sing my problems because sometimes subject from Africa is always about complaining and it’s not necessary. Africa is so rich that is a victim of his richnesses. We are a little bit ignorant about African issues sometimes and that’s why even if I talk about Africa you will see me smiling and dancing. I like to bring hope, the light to the darkness that people can always see in Africa but we do have many realities that we have to face.”
