Major Vivek Jacob is a former Special Forces Operator, Founder C.L.A.W. Global and Operation Blue Freedom Foundation.
Project CLAW (Conquer Land, Air and Water) brings the specialized skills of elite Special Forces veterans into the realm of high-end adventure sports, survival training and self-defence.
He spent 14 years as an elite para commando( 9 para sf Ghost operators) where he honed his expertise in military forms of scuba diving, sky diving and high-altitude mountaineering for efficiency in combat. His perception of what it meant to be ‘free’ began to evolve during his special operation missions.
Major Jacob went through a near-death experience when his parachute malfunctioned mid-fall during a Combat Skydive, causing spinal cord injuries. While recovering at a military hospital, he formed a close bond with an Indian Airforce officer, who was permanently paralyzed in a freak accident and had spent the past four years in the hospital in a wheelchair. When IAF Officer expressed his desire to SCUBA Dive, despite being paralyzed waist down; It inspired Major Jacob to explore a whole new world of adaptive adventure sports and its potential to change the narrative around disabilities.
Major Vivek Jacob, a special forces Veteran, founder of C.L.A.W & Operation Blue Freedom. He trains a team of people with disabilities under 'Operation Blue Freedom' in Mountaineering, Sky Diving, and Scuba Diving to create the Triple Elemental World Records across all the three elements of Land, Air, and Water. He is one of the most disciplined and resilient men I've ever had the fortune to meet.
