FAUN - Hymn to Pan (Video by SamsaraWear) 

Is the first time i listen a song for Pan! As a Greek ,Pan is my favourite creature of Greek mythology! He was mostly loved in Arcadia, Peloponnese ! In the first Persian invasion of Greece and battle of Marathon at 490 B.C which ended with a decisive greek victory, the Greek hoplites were describing afterwards, incidents of battle and many of them said that at a point of battle when the center of the Greek forces was under pressure, Pan appeared in front of the warriors and said "you Athenians,you dont worship me ,you dont offer sacrifices on my name ,but oh,children of Greece i love you and ill help you ! They said that the Persians were massively afraid and retreated and that was called "Panikos phobos-panick fear" so the word panick as we know it today has its roots in that incident! 'Hymn to Pan' has always been my most favourite Faun song and now, the fact that it has such a beautifully interpreted video makes me very happy :D

The music is already beautiful and capable of transporting you back in time to the days of old. Faun goes two steps further by giving us music videos set in gorgeous locations with incredible costumes.

The live version of Pan was always my favourite This video concept gives a whole new perspective giving a slower more relaxing pagan atmosphere. Excellent!

Klasse Song! Aber das Selbe trifft ja im Prinzip eigentlich für so gut wie alle Songs von Faun zu. Wenn ich mal keine ganz so gute Laune habe, lege ich mir eine CD von Faun rein, und dann fühle ich mich in der Zeit um 500 Jahre zurück versetzt, wo die Welt noch zum Träumen inspirierte. Für mich ist Faun die beste Medizin wenn es mir seelisch einmal schlecht geht. Dieser mittelalterliche Sound mit all diesen vielen nostalgischen Instrumenten, welche diese Band mit derartigen Feingefühl, Leidenschaft und unfassbar viel Herzblut in unsere Seelen zaubert bzw hinein zelebriert, sowie diese schwierigen Instrumente bestens beherrschen tuen, ist aller Ehren wert, und sucht in diesem Musik-Genre weltweit seines Gleichen!🥳👌👍👍👏👋👌 Also wem diese geile Mukke nicht gefällt, der muss wahrscheinlich zu lange in seinem Leben auf seinen Ohren gesessen haben...😄😅 Nun aber gut mit meinen Albernheiten..
