la obra mas bonita de todas las que he cantado con el coro donde estoy desde el año 1998 junto al oratorio de noe fue una satisfascion enormey un honor para mi
awkwardbarry... I absolutely agree with you. I'm doing this song with my choir and every time that part comes up I just can't help but tune out everything else and listen to just the instrunments. Once, one of my friends thought I was about to faint because I was so zoned in.
2:46 onwards is amazing, and love the cadence at 3:07 and the forte that follows! ITS SOO emotional, I just love it, love the guy.. i want to meet him, amazing french late 1800s guy, i remember singing this with the school
Beautiful sublime stuff with so much spiritual quality, a requiem to rank alongside those of Mozart, Brahms, Verdi, Rutter. Merci for posting this, Agatamaz. sd goh (malaysia)
Thank you, this is PRECISELY how I feel about this piece. I wish to be married to Nat "King" Cole's "When I Fall In Love," and buried to the Fauré Requiem.
@napoleonkid5402 It depends on whether you are singing in the Franco-Latin, Italiacised-Latin or Anglicised-Latin. I personally change it depending on the composer and his/her intentions.
C'est beau mais je préfère les voix d'enfants pour cette pièce. Allez écouter la "Maîtrise de Nîmes" pour cet "agnus dei" ou le "cantique de jean Racine". Un pouce vert !
