Faut-il laisser crever les pandas ? C’est la question (un peu étrange, on vous l’accorde) qu’on s’est posé à Explore Media. Entre son régime alimentaire ultra spécifique à base de bambou et sa reproduction chaotique, le panda géant semble assez mal barré. Et sa protection, chapeautée par l’État chinois, pourrait même cacher certains biais…
Alors, pour mieux comprendre tout ça, on a mené notre enquête en allant interroger le chercheur Alexandre Robert, biologiste de la conservation au Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle et Baptiste Mulot, directeur santé, animal et recherche du Zooparc de Beauval.
