Aren't they awesome? I love them... but I have to admit the real ones are pretty special. I just ordered the Spellbinders seal stamps so I can't wait to get to play with them!
I actually just put in my order! I got a few different designs to try out. I can't wait for them to arrive! I want to make some Christmas seals! 💚❤️ Thank you for watching and commenting!
@@LVHandcrafted I am looking at their wax and seal collection. As somebody who has never done anything with wax, I am looking forward to seeing projects that you create!!! Thanks so much for sharing. I like Spellbinders a lot as a company so I am very happy they are doing this. Thank you again. ♥️♥️🤗🤗🌺🌺
Wow it's wild I was looking up other videos on wax seals and it's a whole thing. How do you rate the spellbinders products vs the more generic ones you see on amazon and other places? Spellbinders seems to have top notch packaging.
Hi Jay. I can't speak to the Spellbinders ones yet. I didn't receive their products with my other goodies. I had to wait to order it like everyone else. :) I can let you know once I get them in though!!
Are the waxes you are using "flexible" or are they like the original wax used in the past? I have the original red wax and it is very hard: it could be cracked because it is actually a seal ... beautiful ... but for a craft project it is not very durable 😅 in fact I tried to create seals with hot glue and I colored them first with some white acrylic gesso, then with the nuvo mousses: excellent result, but I had to use rubber stamps or clear stamps because I don't have seal stamps 🤦♀️ just one with a G. Anyway…I love the dies and your cards 😍😍😍😍
Hi Gessica! The wax I have is flexible and not brittle but it is from a kit I got off of Amazon. I just ordered some on the seals and a box of wax from Spellbinders so I'll be able to let you know about theirs specifically once that arrives. My guess is it's also flexible. I love your idea to use hot glue. How creative!! Does stamping into the hot glue with clear stamps melt or damage it in anyway?
@@LVHandcrafted no, they are not ruined .. for safety I put some micro glaze (by ranger-Tim Holz) because I was afraid it would stick. In theory, clear stamps are made of silicone… to be safe, I tried a stamp I didn't like… but I used rubber stamps for the seals I made. Hot glue is faster than melting wax, I think ... but then you have to color it 😅
@@gessicapani3488 Do you think using maybe versamark would be the same as micro glaze (I don't have that). I definitely want to give this a try. It's nice to find more uses for my Nuvo products. 🤣🤣
@@LVHandcrafted you can use vasalline instead, the chemical principle is the same. The versamark ink has glycerin (I think), which is sticky, so I think it is not good. Anyway, I am a super fan of Nuvo / tonic studios products .. I think they are 80% of my craft room. I am a kit subscriber for more than two years. Now, for a year until April I get them for free because I won their contest and they published me in their magazine 😍 Too lucky !! 😂😂😂😂
@@gessicapani3488 OMG! I am so jealous! I love Tonic Studios too! Thank you so much for the tip for using Vaseline. I have that! You are the best.. Thanks so much! ❤️
