I watched you for years since I was 13 when my book addiction started then got busy and stopped watching for a while but now I’m back and I’m so glad you’re making videos still! I’m 21 now and love your videos to this day❤ I now have lots of content to catch up on while I’m procrastinating on school😂

I'll never be able to find someone with a taste so similar to mine, you're the only person I fully trust for recommendations 💛 Other than Book Lovers, this year I fell in love with The Inheritance Games and The Dead Romantics and I feel like maybe you would enjoy both of them too
Love the video Christine! Book recommendation: a deadly education by Naomi Novik- a brilliant fantasy trilogy about a darker magic school where the odds of survival are 1 in 4. It is incredibly funny and has very poignant and moving moments, as well as a core message of doing good despite it being easier to do nothing. It’s my favourite book.
Defy the Night is on my TBR so glad you approve! Also I'm excited for HOSAB but I'm glad you haven't rushed through it, can't wait to hear all of your thoughts. 🌟
These are some of my favorite books of 2022: A Light in the Flame by Jennifer L. Armentrout It Starts with Us by Colleen Hoover The Inheritance Games series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J Maas Seven Days in June by Tia Williams Red, White, & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston The Friendzone series by Abby Jimenez
I read Winterkeep the lates in the Graceling series which is my all time favorite series. This one did not disappoint but at first It was hard to get into and then I learned one secret and it changed Everything!! It took off like wild fire!! I'm a so proud because it is long but it was sooo good! Have you done the Graceling Series!? I started it in the peak of the YA Book craze but it's still with me because the writer knows how to let the characters grow, so we've been with the same four people for years but they evolve! it's great!
As someone who read AGGGTM when it came out I feel weirdly connected/protective of the book and so now to see AGAD be your fav book of the year I'm so happy and weirdly proud! Like omg my besties are uniting, what is this??
I devoured the Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Trilogy over audiobook in December. Definitely one of my favorites. I love your videos and your podcast. Been watching since 2016 and have found so many of my favorite books through your recommendations.
I was busy with university (film dissertation) and then busy making a comic and writing a novel in November, so I really didn’t read as much as I wanted to, but I think that “one last stop” was the last book I read that became a favourite favourite
I only had 4 5-Star books on my Goodreads shelf last year. If you find me by Emily Murdoch, These Silent Woods by Kimi Cunningham Grant, A Curse So Dark and Lonely, Fentanyl Inc by Ben Westhoff.
YA thrillers are great cause you get the murder mystery stuff without it getting too dark plus there's normally romance! I would suggest the Truly Devious series if you want to read another one similar to AGGGTM. Oh snap, I need to get to Here's to Us still!
have you read A Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue? if not, I highly recommend!! hilarious narrative voice and phenomenal cast of characters (plus an awesome audiobook)👌🏼
Yesss I’m also planning to read everything by Taylor Jenkins Reid and Emily Henry😁The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo was my favourite book of the year! I also loved The Starless Sea
A Good Girl's Guide and Part of Your World also made my top favorites of 2022! But my absolute favorite was ALL MY RAGE by Sabaa Tahir and Christine YOU NEED TO READ IT!!!!
I had a baby in feb 2022 and pretty much got no reading done except the good girls guide to murder books off your recommendation. I couldn’t put them down, I was excited when my baby would wake in the middle of the night cause I could read a little bit more 😂 SO GOOD
OMG just finished Part of your world because of your video... iloved it so much the characters were so relatable which abby jimenez book would u recommend next??
yay!!! friendzoned is good but gets real sad at times, but the other books are all like in the same universe so if you dont read friendzoned first you get spoiled… so friendzoned LOL
After reading the first A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder book, I was like, “Why would this be a series? This story is wrapped up, and a series would be repetitive.” Then I read the other two books. And WOW. I’m so glad that I continued with the series. As Good as Dead was also my favorite book that I read in 2022. I may have stayed up late during finals week to read this book lol
i had no interest in reading beach read cause i knew nothing about it but now that i know the synopsis & have your recommendation im tempted my favorite books of the year include hell followed with us by andrew joseph white, (probably wouldn’t recommend it for you christine personally though, it is VERY gory/bloody and an illness is a major plot line, though it is a sort of fantastical illness so maybe you’ll be fine, idk) the first to die at the end by adam silvera, the prequel to they both die at the end which, of course, was gut wrenching, the lesbiana’s guide to catholic school by sonora reyes, the charm offensive by alison cochrun, and cafe con lychee by emery lee! didn’t read as much as i wanted to in 2022 but instead of dwelling on it just am going to focus on reading more in 2023!!
I have made several comments on your recent videos already but when you read the house of sky and breath and you are on the 2nd to last chapter (you'll know what I mean when you get there) please please please record your reaction to reading it because if you haven't been spoiled already you are going to blow your top.
Where is that guy with a Diazepam dart gun when you need him? I will need a month of therapy and Zen meditation far away alone in the mountains after this video.
