So crazy that Paladin was so well set up for new dragons for so many expansions, and then they introduce a bunch of new dragons, but the best are for the other classes, like the one legendary that mage got that kicked Regis's ass in the last game. I played like 20 dragon paladin games and never beat that card.

I didn't get too many packs from this expansion and didn't really follow the reveals. But when I got Talritha, she seemed perfect for Quest Paladin, which is probably my current favorite deck. Win Rate wasn't too hot so far, and I don't know how viable this variant is in the long run. But when it pops off, it's a blast.

I opened Talritha and this was the first thing that came to mind. It just feels like even the super highroll on her loses to the normal decks in the meta.

Sometimes I play the side quest and sacrifice the griffin to get locusts out. The tempo loss is actually minimal if you can get locusts out sooner to gain control and get the quest finished faster. Otherwise, you will be holding that quest for a very long time. It’s a 50/50 call, based on waiting vs playing when you simply have 1 mana left and don’t want to waste it. If you have locusts early, you obviously save it. Love this deck, btw. Played this quest last season for a bit, but it was very slow. Hope this will feel a bit faster or, at least. More fun.

You asked what you could have done better in game 1 to try to win. Picking nozari over evasive wyrm was a huge head scratcher for me. Doubling up on your divine shield rushers is very powerful

Turn 6 Lunara into turn 7 drawing 1 mana Alexstrasza, getting a second Alexstrasza and 2x Azure Explorer from it for +4 spell damage, into turn 8 drawing 1 mana Malygos. That is some insane rng.

Have you tried playing this quest Pally deck with Bad Luck Albatross?

You should put in the 3 mana 3/2 that adds dragons to your hand. Basically guarantees you’ll always have something to receive the buff.

Thank you for the video maybe standard will be fun this season. Every class has several powerful things to do it’s just finding the one you enjoy. Now it is back to the drawing board for me to brew more quest shaken and shark rogue

I think the misplay game 1 was taking Alex and maybe nozdormu. It prevents you from doing the dragon chain since you never have time to play Alex since it's never active meaning you have low value. 7 mana 7/7 taunt (buffed to 10/10) would be better. I really like the deck though. I just can't resist so much value from dragon buffs. Also Barista + Shudder + Faceless Corruptor is insane. Just play that every turn for the rest of the game. I looked up the deck on hsreplay. Apparently it's a 35% winrate deck which is unbelievable given how good it looks in the video. But I think in this case the stats don't lie. It seems kinda dependent on drawing enough reborn minions to get the new hero power.

you know, the shaman would have stopped your chain anyway with a hex. The problem isn't galakrond or shaman, its shudderwock (the more battlecries they introduce the more synergies he has). Your game was a stomp until shudder got involved.

The fact that the first opponent managed to get to rank 5 is mindblowing to me. So many absolutely ridiculous misplays it seemed like he was bm'ing the entire time. Or maybe he was just drunk af lol

I went from rank 20 to 5 with quest hunter/shuma deck, it’s very good vs shaman. I believe i have like a 64% win rate. Only have trouble vs cyclone mage because of all the removal

5:09 is a misplay there was no point picking dragon queen Alex considering that the game normally ends before there’s no duplicates in your deck taunt would’ve been much better since at the end of first game he wondered if he made any misplays

the way you could have won first game was being less greedy in your dragon discovers. Alex and Nozuri were both p much just dead cards in hand and alex was holding the buff away from use. With more playable dragons you could have kept tempo going and probably balanced the stacking deathrattles *and* the 7/7 taunts

This is why Hearthstone has been played less and less by me recently. Having games stolen from you because of RNG highroll just isn't enjoyable. Winning that way honestly isn't that fun either.

Please tell me someone saw the lethal that Jak had when he had 2 shudderwocks, a nozari and a sludge slurper which is 18 dmg then he could have played another shudderwock that had two life drinker ticks (which is 6dmg, so 18+6=24) and regis had 24 hp Edit: if someone wants to see the turn it's 28:10

it could be fun if anyone actually let you do the combo , do not build it it's a waste of time before the nerf wave it everyone is playing aggro decks that ramp up so bad you will be dead before you get Talritha

Looks like the deck kept losing because the reborn package generates a low, consistent pressure, but the dragon package relies on an ideal board state that can't recover from removal, and the hero power gimmick only has middling greed value without putting pressure on it's own. The deck might survive against straight aggro, but lacks a strong closing win condition or ability to turn the board state around. In short: it lost because it's greedy meme deck.
