Credit to this show. They did not fire Manuela for that. And gave the contestant the car. Thats why this is the most liked game show.

I can tell that she was confused as soon as Drew went "Ohhhhhhhh!", in which she then realized that the lady still had 2 chances and realized that the game wasn't over. This is probably the best blooper a model ever made.

What a fun blooper -- certainly that can't have these happen every week, but it probably added to the show's popularity! Glad to know both Drew and the producers supported her. Everybody wins -- especially the woman playing the game!

Saw the interview, she said she thought at the very least she'd have to pay for the car, but Drew and the producers were very understanding that it was an accident. I would think the network has insurance in case of things like this.

Manuela is showing the prizes, but unfortunately, she wasn't the one to pull the price cards this time. I'm disappointed! 😔 Seriously, I'm sure the network couldn't have been happier about the blooper! Fans of the show absolutely love moments like this! This moment brought attention and publicity to the show, and made all the highlight reels! The network gained far more in valuable publicity and fan support than it cost them giving away the car! (And besides, with 2 chances left, the contestants may have won the car anyway!) Manuela did them a favor! 😀

Manuela thought she was so fired after that. She handled it well, she owned it, laughed about it later, and she was kept on. She’s a class act all the way, as is Drew who supported her the whole way afterward. But in case nobody’s noticed, Manuela hasn’t been allowed to be part of that game since.

I never gave much thought to the models on the show. When this happened, she instantly became my favorite...and prob the only memorable model for me. Hiding behind that board was adorable. Good times!

If Bob Barker was still hosting, he probably would’ve said “it had to happen! The first time in Price is Right history, a Barker’s beauty has given away a car!” Then Bob would’ve embarrassed Manuela a bit more and eventually giving the car to the contestant. Probably off-camera, Bob wouldn’t be too pleased

Bob Barker himself made a similar mistake back in the 80's. Where he accidentally revealed the winning number before the game was over. The contestant ended up being given a all expense paid trip to Japan. Bob Barker really would be a hypocrite if he got on someone's a** for doing something like this.

Everyone won on this actually. The lady won her car, Drew shows how great of a host he is, the producers were nice to Manuela because they knew a lot of publicity out of it, Manuela won our hearts, and we had a healthy laugh. LOL

Remember also that the amount of money at stake here is utterly trivial compared to what the show brings in. Firing her would bring way more bad sentiments than the commercial worth of ads that they lost.

In an interview, Manuela said she thought the contestant only had one guess, but Drew clearly said multiple times, "three guesses." I know it's loud in the studio, but she was standing like three feet from him.
