It was an immediate “love @ first sniff” with Mont Blanc Signature. Not long after, I purchased Blanche Bete. Around this time, I came across the term "lactonic fragrances" and was initially confused. I soon discovered that my brain and nose associate musky and lactonic scents as belonging to the same fragrance family. Jackie, all of the fragrances you mentioned in your video (except Musc Noir and Clean) still seem to belong to the same lactonic/musk family - per my brain. Do you or anyone find this weird?

Lactonic is milky. It’s lighter than creamy which is denser and thick…. I get how lactonic and musk could feel the same because they are both more airy…. And often they are paired together.

I LOVE MUSK!!!… Narciso does the best musks for people who don’t love or want dominant musky frags. I just acquire one of the “oriental Musc” Santal Musc. Lord god what a perfect sandalwood musk. It’s divine. Musk Therapy is a class of its own, truly the Musk Queen of them all. Tiffany and Co absolutely deserves more hype, even though I see it as a fall scent, especially as it gets darker. Great list!

While I'm drawn to some musk-forward fragrances, not every musk resonates with me. Unfortunately, some, like those in Montblanc Signature and Initio Musc Therapy, leave me feeling queasy-I just can't bear them! However, my absolute go-to musk perfume is Musc Moschus by Rania J. I adore its simplicity and soft sweetness, which never fails to captivate my senses.

I love your videos and we have similar fragrance tastes😊 Valaya is one of my all time favorites and I totally agree that it is an excellent wedding day fragrance❤ I also adore Musk Therapy, 10/10 indeed, but I don’t own a full size yet😢 however I do own a full size of Greenwich Village and it’s also one of my all time loves❤ I enjoy Radiant Nectar as well, but I tend to reach for it more in the summer than I do in the spring😊

Musk Therapy is incredible. Oil Perfumery has a great dupe of this scent that I wear with my OG Musk Therapy to enhance the scent even more.

Hi Jackie How does Mohra Silky Rose compare to Yara? Are they at all similar? My only Musk I have, (that I know of ), is Musc Noir Rose. I adore it!

No I don’t find them similar. Silky rose is rose and musk while Yara is more fruity vanilla. I find the quality of silky rose to be better and longer lasting. ❤️

I have been loving musk scents lately and my recent obsession has been the new Nicki Minaj perfume. It reminds me of a warm hug from one of my aunts. It doesn’t last worth a bit but I do enjoy the scent. And I need to get my hands on Musk Therapy for sure

Thank you thank you thank. Musk is my absolute fave. I love your videos. I don’t feel like you’re just promoting perfume because you’re getting a kick back from the perfume company. I’m getting tired of seeing others where it is so obvious that they are just promoting perfumes for the sake of the perfume company.

Valaya is definitely my top pretty girl scent of all time! It is so ethereal, fruity and clean- it puts my husband in a chokehold. 😂 He cannot stop smelling me when I wear it. I also love Musk Therapy!

I loved a fragrance called Sensuous Nude ( a flanker of the original Sensuous) . It was a beautiful musk in my opinion. Crushed that it was discontinued.

Why is no one talking about Musc Moschino by Rania J?? IMO it is so much better than Musk Therapy and I did buy a sample of it to test side by side with Rania J. The longevity is amazing, I sprayed it on after a shower at 8 pm, when I woke up at 3 am, I could still smell it. I'm going to have to look into the Tiffany fragrance, I remember having their first fragrance release over 20 years ago. I was going to buy Narciso's Musc Poudree, I think I'll test the Noir Rose first.

Love the perfume selections! My fave musk fragrances: Musk Therapy. Fleur de Peau. Valaya. Peau by Arquiste, very unisex and leaning masculine, but there is just something about it…

Spring gives me a musk kick also!! Molecules 01 + Iris is my save skin musk scent. I do agree that pear in musk with iris is a stunner, and orris toot. Fleur de peau is another gorgeous skin scent!

Okay Jackie, this video turning out to be dangerous because I find myself wanting to try so many of these fragrances. I got rid of the original My Way so I wasn’t interested in the flankers until now😂 I definitely need to try the one you mentioned. I have the original Tiffany and Co and I’ve been wanting to try the intense. I just got Greenwich Village and I totally agree with you. Right now my favorite musky fragrance is Ivory Musk which is an inspired version of Musk Therapy. Great video💜

Hey Jackie. You are so right about Valaya. I couldn’t hardly smell it on me however everyone in the office could smell me. I was really surprised. I love Irresistible. It’s absolutely beautiful. I’m definitely going to get Silky Rose. It sounds amazing. Radiant Nectar has peaked my interest because of the carrot seed note. Soliel Neige has a carrot seed note and it’s really interesting and beautiful.

You should try Et voilà by Teo Cabanel, The Musc by Essential Parfum, Sun bleached by Une nuit Nomade and Besos by Carner Barcelona they’re all very great musky perfumes ✨

My Way Parfum has been one of the few fragrances where it was true love at first sniff for me! I tried the My Way samples as an after thought because they sounded too basic. Not true. They are all lovely - but the Parfum is something especially special!

Animal musks are not allowed in perfumes so many are made with plants. Musk can smell very different depending on the materials used. I found this online and felt like it was a good explanation: Musk can be described as powdery, soft, somewhat sweet, and is sometimes likened to a seductive version of "natural skin scent." Because of its warm and rich scent, musk belongs to the amber fragrance family. Hope this helps. ❤️

Bring on the musky springtime fragrances!!! 🎉🎉🎉 I might have to test a few of these... I started wearing musky fragrances about 2 weeks ago. Yay! Love Musc Noir Rose, Musk Therapy and Irresistible edp. ❤ I've also been wearing the new Musc Nude by NR. I think the patchouli at the base might give it a slight spiciness that I really enjoy. Wore Pure Musc yesterday. I like to sneak wear a bit of Musk 12 to work...

Now that you’ve listed them all together I think I’m realizing that there are a lot of musks I do not like. I love but don’t own narciso musc rose noir. I do also love aerin amber musk, which is a skin scent but smells so good.
