Gorgeous. I’m totally partial to that gorgeous pale pale pink. I’m loving bliss parfuma , honeymoon (climber), and first crush all from Kordes. Super beautiful!!! I just bought earth angel this year, can’t wait to see her. Also added ‘snow pavement’ rugosa and just ordered white eden so thanks! LOL 😂

Eden is one of my favourite, although it took my Eden rose five years to establish and begin to flower profusely. Every summer my patience is rewarded with glroious blooms that only stay for one month in June. Eden is not a repeat bloomer in my garden, but it's such a traffic stopper when it's in bloom.

Beautiful! Would you mind telling us what partnof the country you are in and your rosemary plan? Do you spray, is it organic? I have eden, icenerg and earth angel in zone 7b just outside charlotte NC and all three struggle with blackspot. So far I'm cmpletely organic but I'd love to hear how you keep your plants so healthy. So from your list, is Eden has the longest last bloom and repeat blooming more often? i love Moon Light In Paris too but I dont know how long bloom last and wil it repeat? can it tolerate heat over 95F and sunny location? Would you please recommend which rose can tolerate heat and repeatly bloom?

This is a great list. I have experience with New Dawn and Eden, where I prefer Eden over the 2. My favorite now is the Generous Gardener!

I am very impressed with "Graham Thomas", "Westerland", "Just Joey", and "The Impressionist".

You have an amazing garden and a selection of roses suitable to my liking. I prefer white, off white, white to pink and yellow roses. Eden is lovely, but so far I don't have it in my garden. Beautiful presentation! My favorite is "Golden Celebration". It was well established in the garden when My husband and I bought the place. The aroma and beauty of this rose shrub is like being in Paradise! It can compare to Eden:) I am Bulgarian-Canadian and for now my garden is at Bulgaria. I want to have Rosa Damascus, because that's what Bulgaria is famous for the rose oil production for the perfumery industry. On top of that that particular rose is good for syrup, rose jam, jelly, and desserts.

Thank you for the video. The comparison of the three roses was very informative. Unfortunately, they ran out of Eden when I checked this morning. However. I ordered 5 plants; 2 Lady of Shalott, 2 Gabriel Oak, and 1 Princess Alexandra of Kent. Can't wait until next year!

Emily starts with a tea scent and moves on to old rose…I get hints of grapefruit and subtle lemon. Generous Gardner has a hint of myrrh and musk behind the classic rose scent. Delights for the senses.😊

How do you fight thrips? My light roses are full of thrips

Beautiful. Thank you. In our coastal climate we have fog so the multi pedaled varieties have problems, even if we spray with fungicides, which I don't like. We have had luck however with Yves Piaget, Lark Ascending, Mutabilis, Julia Child, Carefree Wonder~~

We have many of the same roses and chose them for the same reasons. Because of the (infuriating) Brexit we can't have Moonlight in Paris, Princess Charlene and others we dearly wished for. The Generous Gardener is sublime, soft peachy pink, grows incredibly quickly and the fragrance is knock out. Claire Austin is, too. We really enjoyed this, thank you!

Wonder how they look 2-years on? My current favourites are Earth Angel & Pierre de Ronsard - which may well be Eden by another name? I really like your Eden, with the green outer petals & very gentle blush - the new PdR I have is a little garish for my taste - it looks good from a distance - my original (about 7-yrs old) has the green petals & very delicate interior. I think I need to add New Dawn to my little collection - just always seems to be sold out by the time I get round to looking. Thank you.

I just purchased a new dawn rose!

I started my New Dawn roses from cuttings. They grew prolifically in the second year. They provide an abundance of flowers in the spring but sporadically throughout the summer. The fragrance (divine) and color (seashell pink) are the main reasons I love it so very much. It can be prone to blackspot even when getting good morning sun. You should tell us what you use for blackspot prevention. Neem seems to disfigure any new growth it comes into contact with. Funginex was the BEST fungicide ever on the market. But alas, it was removed by the powers that be for whatever reason. 😢 😢😢

Absolutely love Eden and Earth Angel but I am in Zone 4b. I have to really protect them for winter. Any tips would be appreciated.

What a terrific video! I have ordered 4 of these for april delivery and already have a 3-year-old New Dawn that has engulfed a large piece of our fence. Love it! I also have 3 Zephirine Drouhin climbing up the pergola; beautifully fragrant and very unusual in that frequently I have 2-3 different shades of pink on the same plant. I absolutely never buy a rose that is not fragrant, so I’ve gotten very excited about several DAs that I’ll be putting in this Spring. A rose obsession makes this wait for Spring harder to endure - I want to get out there and prune! 🥰🥰🥰. Your roses are the picture of health and hardiness! What zone are you in? Thanks again!

Is Eden a David Austin rose?

When you deadhead, do you ever cut deep into the plant or do you prefer to just take off the top like 6 inches or so like you did in the video? I'm still so cautious with deadheading but I know I need to do it. I know for stems great for cutting they say to cut deep but I'm afraid to cut too deep.
