Who else yawned after Jen did? lol The most interesting taboo book that I ever read, is based on a true story - unfortunately it's in portuguese but the plot is basically: These 2 male friends, they are in high school, both around 17 - and they are discovering lots of things together, including that they are attracted to each other, and they start this secret relationship, but one of the guys have a girlfriend, and she gets pregnant and after some weeks she discover about their secret relationship - and after some crazy shit they realize that the three of them feel attracted by each other, so they start this 3 person relationship. My summary is pretty lame, but the book is really good. And if there's any portuguese speaker here and got interest despite my poor summary and book spoilers, the book name is "o terceiro travesseiro" :)
Dang it! I missed one. I yawn so much when I film. I think its because I look at myself. I try to get them all.... That once sounds really interesting.
Just wanted to say I am so happy I found your channel. I'm sure you hear this all the time, but I really mean it. I found it through your 'In Defense of 365 Days' video and it was such a relief because it was my first time watching anything like that and while it's not the most sophisticated or 'intellectual' movie it did what it set out to do and I respect it for that. I've always wanted to enjoy romance it was almost always one of my favorite parts to a story, but through years of reading I found maybe two mainstream romance books I liked. I think dark romance/bdsm type stuff is almost like a sexual orientation for me (I was always fascinated by villains and stuff like that since I was a kid) and finding channels like this has been borderline therapeutic. I finally realized I'd just been reading the wrong type of romance/erotica. I love the evil psychos, incest daddy/daughter, bdsm, unhealthy power dynamics all the stuff mainstream liberalism and prudish conservatism brand as "bad," "problematic," or "glorifying rape." 'Cause apparently us dumb women can't tell the difference between fantasy and reality and have to be shown only "good role models." (Puke.) Okay, trying not to go on too long, but point is thank-you for doing what you do and it's been like an awakening for me. Plus, these all sound fascinating (I already read 'Tortured Whispers,' and it's beautiful though the ending's a little whack.) Anyway, your channel is amazing, if I did not make that clear enough.
Thank you for the kind words. I'm so glad to know that I can give you a place to find and talk about the books you like. I think all kinds of romances are valid for us to enjoy. No matter how different or dark it might seem to others. That is the kind of environment I want to create.
I love menages too, it's my favorite trope. How about you doin' a menage recommendation video? I would be thrilled to watch that. From today's video I will definitely check out "Sea of Ruin".
Hi, have you read "Sunshine and Bullets series" by Carolee June. Yes is a reverse harem, but ai think you might like it. As it is dark, dirty, and bloody due to their battle with a rival mob and trying to take down a serial killer who is running for public office. Also great character development and relationship.
I read the first one! Not a big fan of it so I didn't continue. I don't like RH where the men aren't also in love. This being about brothers... kind of excludes that.
I have read those yes. They were okay to me. There just wasn't a lot of story in those ones. They were too short for me. Den of Vipers made me believe the relationship with 4 guys because she took the time to go through all of the individual relationships.
For the Taboo Book Club? I don't actually host with them anymore. So you'll want to check out Library of Tomes channel. If you mean one of the other discord, let me know!
