X was crazy smart and he understood the mechanics of how to make a song make u feel a certain way. In a video he said music is frequency programming and if you manipulate the frequency he can make you feel whatever he wanted you to feel.

XXXTENTACION - Slipknot Released on April 18th 2017 X's slipknot would hit the SoundCloud community, The track was also included on "Revenge" X's first commercial mixtape. X raps about his mother and how he was a trouble some child and gave her a ton of heart aches growing up, His mom wasn't able to take care of him so X lived with his aunt. This track was previewed on a Instagram live where he and his viewers heard a short snippet of the song, later in the livestream he would say his mom cried the first time X had showed her the song. it’s crazy how he’s one of the most mainstream artists number wise, he’s still in the top 20 most streamed artists ever but he didn’t even make mainstream music. He made a handful of songs that were targeted to that larger audience, imagine he had enough time to make a full pop record it would’ve done stupid numbers, not saying i’d want him to go full pop but for one album i’d of liked it

'Skeptacore EP' is a must hear. Its a few skepta songs which were refixed at a slower pace. Really easy to follow and seriously powerful :). Produced by a guy called 'Ryder'. The songs reached skeptas attention and he posted a short album on spotify with them. Theres part 1,2&3 :)
