Finished the Off Balance series in January and I was wrecked. The steam is some of the best I've ever read (the couch scene in book 1 and the patio scene in book 3 🔥). Wasn't crazy about the final book but the series as a whole is phenomenal with so much angst and growth.

If you're into these types of books, I would recommend the Fausti series by Belle di Corte. It was previously published under another name but this one is the most updated version. It's emotionally intense, you get to see a couple's relationship grow over the years and it also has that mafia bit as well. It's supposed to be an 8 book series and there's five so far. It's so good.
You should read the Broken Love series by B. B. Reid. I really loved it and if you haven’t read it, I really think you will love it too. They are dark romance books!!
If you enjoyed the paper princess series, it actually continues on from the trilogy with more books, but this time from the perspective/more of a focus on Easton!

The Voyeur series is amazing, it's SO addictive! I love them all, but a standout for me is Another, since I'm a sucker for surprise pregnancies, and I just love Carina & Ian. I loved Carina's strong sassiness, her confidence, her strength, her quick wit and her advocacy for women in the business world. I loved how Ian automatically fell in love with the baby, even during the pregnancy and made an immediate claim to her. The ''that's MY baby. I know we don't know each other that well, but that MEANS something to me. Please Carina'' melted my heart. Like even if things didn't work out with them, he'd always be there for their daughter, and he reminded Carina of that every chance he got. I loved seeing how pregnancy softened Carina, how much she adored her daughter and the conflicting feelings she had for Ian - knowing she had to be careful not to go in too soon for the sake of her child. I loved how it was equally sweet daddy vibes and then other daddy vibes hehe.

Seeing you read The Paper Princess, maybe you'de be interested in The Boys of Brayshaw High. It features bad ass guys with an equally badass female main character. Such a good series by Meagan Brandy. Basically anything she writes is amazing.
If you’re looking into reading more dark romance, I recommend the All the Pretty Things trilogy by Monica James. It has to do with the mob but it’s quite different than most mafia stories, I’ll think you’ll enjoy it! 🖤 ps. She’s an aussie author!! ☺️☺️

Have you read Giana darlings other series? The evolution of sin trilogy and her enslaved duet? Sooooo amazing. I really think you would love them especially the enslaved duet. Its dark and I almost stoped it at first because I felt uncomfortable then was so thankful I kept going I loved it!

Recommendations: Betrothed series by Penelope Sky (Mafia Romance) and Rydeville Elite series by Siobhan Davis (Dark, high school, social abuse romance). These books are hella dark! and they were both my first reads when I started getting into dark romance novels. You have to add these in your reading list :)

However; you should try Pepper Winters the goddess isles series once a myth. The book intertwines with the Indebted series and Dollar series (mentions characters). I absolutely loved Eleanor Grace and Sully Sullivan~ at first I didn’t think I would because of the human trafficking part but it doesn’t drag out as long. The storyline is very creative and the sex scenes are omg! Anyways take care lovely! :)
Both the Off Balance series and the Mr. Cane series are a part of my top favs! 💖💖 I also loooooove Giana Darling's writing so much. We love Daddy Zeus! You've probably either read these series before or they've already been recommended to you, but I'll share some of my favorite series with you: 1. The Original Sinners series by Tiffany Reisz (age gap, sadistic priest, love triangle, DRAMA, uuughhghghghghgh) 2. The New Camelot series by Sierra Simone. BITCH, this series really brought something new to the table. Like, I have never read anything quite like it. It had politics, MMF, hot AF sex scenes (Sierra Simone can WRITE a fucking sex scene), and just UGH. I know you said her complex writing can be hard to get into, but I promise you that this series is much, much easier to follow than her Thornchapel series. 3. Not a series, but the Dark Duet by CJ Roberts. An oldie, but such a goodie! 4. Both the Indebted Series and the Monsters in the Dark series by Pepper Winters. She's one of my favorite dark romance authors. And I mean DARK, bitch! All of these have left lasting impressions on me and are so worth the read! Thank you for your continued recommendations!
