I’ve been trying to get my hands on the new inktense colors and it’s terrible here in the us! I’ve been building my 24 set with open stock the past few months and was waiting for a store here in the us to stock up 1/05 but I guess I was too late 😢

I agree, but the first one is marginally my favourite out of the 2!

I use the Pro-arte ones too, they are really good. I thought the whole range of the Princeton brushes were for watercolour, I didn’t know that the velvet touch ones could be used for acrylic or have I misunderstood?

@@ColouringwithK Velvetouch are multimedia. Soft but decent snap and a bit tougher than the watercolor options. I like those because I tend to use thin bodied bottled acrylics, so I don't want a very stiff brush like those made for tube paints... and they are nicely made but cheap enough to replace often, acrylic is really hard on brushes especially if you are painting on a textured surface. The big difference between multimedia and watercolor brushes is how much fluid they hold (absorbancy) and flow (how the fluid paint releases from the bristles). Non-watercolor brushes tend to "dump" a puddle of paint either at the start the stroke, at the end of the stroke, or both.. good watercolor brushes have a consistent flow throughout a stroke. They also have multiple other lines specifically for acrylic and oil, and some specialty brushes as well. You can see them all at princetonbrush dot com.
