Fawley Hill railway run on board 

On board at Fawley Hill, this is the view whilst descending the mile or so of track through two halts, then the return climb up the 1 in 14 gradient!! Now thats how to work a train!!! Set in the magnificent deer park at Sir William McAlpines estate at Fawley Hill there is a multitude of preserved architectural remnants of a time now sadly past. The main station has been beautifully lifted and reconstructed with a whole host of signs and other memorabilia. Well worth a visit if you get the chance to get into an open day.
