I agree. I think Faye and Ashley were in a different category to Joe and Stacey, and it showed in the final.

@@amberc2871 oh for none other than I can feel their dances more than Ashley & Pasha. Like I can connect and feel what they want to convey through their movements. It's very subjective of course. Ashley's routines were jaw droppingly impressive but I didn't connect to her routines as such compared with Faye's final attempts.

I loved this on the Halloween show and I loved it again in the final. I think Faye will find a few musical theatre offers start to come her way on the back of this! Smooth, classy, effortless, the test of this was whether or not it held up as a routine in it's own right, without the skulls styling, and it did. And in the middle of all the frantic and upbeat dances in the final, it was a lovely moment to have something slower - it stood out even more because of that.

What are your thoughts on Stacey and Kevin winning?

dont think they had time to do all those face painting... but it was great

i think craig marked them down the first time because when they did the slide down at 1:18 her glasses were nudged out of position. pretty petty from craig but glad she scored full for it second time round 🥳🥳

@lucy Bickerton I think the characterisation in this was done differently to last time. I think Faye and Pasha were demonstrating a different perspective of fever 🥵 🤒 😴 expressing how fevers have been around, not only recently but for a long time in history and for all walks of life - old, young, educated or not. It’s amazing what they can do with vaccines and allergens, adding it to your parents and child! One morning I woke up with needle marks underneath my feet! I think Faye and Giovanni probably looked a bit more trained and slick in their demonstration in the final. His son refused me entry to the gym in case I got hurt at Skegness and they were wearing the skull masks for Halloween. Well done guys 🙌🏻🙏🏻🤔🧐

marthagrande 07 how the hell is she a cheat? Also contemporary, hip hop and lyrical are completely different to ballroom, ballroom is MUCH harder, those skills don’t really help you so..

Veronica Sweeney I voted for Stacey 20 times with four email addresses. Faye was amazing and this dance was incredible but Stacey had more improvement throughout the series.

Veronica Sweeney everyone is a winner in my eyes. I think they all did well and deserved to win

Faye and Ashley never had a chance of winning, as they were both too experienced going into the series. People will vote for the contestants who started with no experience and improved throughout the series. They never publish the voting figures, but I suspect Stacey was getting most votes right from the beginning.

But...this was my favourite dance, maybe of all the Strictly series I've watched. Giovanni is a wonderful dancer and choreographer. He may have had help with the choreography for this, not sure.
