I totally support Banks' freedom of speech.. but.. what a judge has to weigh up (bound by law), in order to overrule constitutional rights, is far beyond 2 people. Banks and AV have millions of fans now posing a HUGE public risk TO MANY. No judge will jeopardise their career for some pub and 2 social media stars.
There have been judges that jeopardize their careers for bribery, murder, cover up, and so on, but I highly doubt letting someone speak in order to defend themselves is gonna cause a huge uproar that will cause harm to the public but more so to a business that apparently let this happen and did nothing to stop it on their own property. Let’s be fair here remember the whole hidden money game that Logan Paul did where people went crazy to find cash, Yea no that’s a danger to the public and so is making accusations that aren’t true, cause that’s what causes the danger in public when people act stupid and not listen to both sides of the issue and not just be ONE SIDED. However, this judge was well aware of the public exposure of this particular incident given its predominantly a social media case.. as apposed to highly confidential, media suppressed, murder etc cases, where judicial bribery is writhe, for sure. I understand the danger of suppression, too.. but preventative compromise was always inevitable in this. It had to be stopped considering the statistical demographic and unreliability of millions of fans. ONE triggered psycho could harm hundreds, thousands of lives ESPECIALLY when you are dealing with a place that many people gather. A bar. I just think people like Kavos need to be more broad minded given the responsibility they take on in choosing to cover stories like this.

BIGGEST QUESTION: Why was it ok for the girls to be in the downstairs area but not Faze Banks? I mean this is what started everything. BH said they have a cash room down there and so it was for employees only. Ok that’s FINE, then say none of you are allowed.. PROBLEM SOLVED! Banks said he walked them down the stairs to the area but stood outside as we saw on the video. He said you will NEVER see a video of me leaving the women’s restroom and we haven’t. Kavos, your video is way off base. First, Banks had an opportunity to defend himself in Court. His lawyers told his story to the Judge and the Judge called bullshit. Second, not all speech is protected. As you know, Banks used speech when he broadcasted himself on social media the night of the incident. The result hurt Barley House's business because Banks's followers started posting false yelp reviews and making death threats against staff. That type of speech is not protected. RU-vid is not a Court. He doesn't have the right to create a video for his fanbase if that video could cause someone irreparable injury. Banks had his day in Court, and he lost. That's why he was ordered to stop posting videos likely to hurt Barley House's business.

They promoted their fans stalking people they THOUGHT were the people they were in conflict with, and didn't speak against the doxxing of innocent people, or the death threats. That is why they got censored, you 12-year-old child. I mean, just like you, when there is a pattern of behavior, you need to start asking questions. UNPOPULAR OPINION: I absolutely disagree with you on it not being a situation suited for social media. If it had not been for social media, Barley would've never gotten recognized on a grand scale for the shitty treatment and service in their bar. Alissa and banks would be painted as the awful drunks if they never told their story or brought out the camera. Security footage wouldn't have been leaked, even though the leaked footage was jump cut and is missing a lot, they could've released NOTHING. This has happened to many others attending there, but Banks and Alissa brought a lot of attention to it. I wouldn't want my child going to a place like that so knowing the history of the bar is important. I think the coverage they gave it was important. Also, Alissa was hurt. So banks did everything he could to protect the love of his life. Sense is often loss when your love is in jeopardy. So I don't blame him for hitting the man that pushed Alissa and had previously pushed her back by her face.

662 543 It's not illegal to post untrue stories (nor should it be) if they didn't know it was untrue. If they thought they had accurate information then it's protected under freedom of speech. If they knowingly spread false information then that's liable, but liable is almost impossible to prove so there would be no point.

True yes but at the same time its very strange and biased of the news company to run a story (the assault of jake pauls assistant and the barley house incident) without even reaching out or asking for comment from banks??? No I really don't think that Banks deleted the part of the video where he talks about the sexual assault claim because the Barley House told him too. If anything, that statement was defending the Barley House and admitting his own wrongs which would make them look better. I am a bar bouncer, and I can tell you the reason why bouncers don't break up fights that happen outside of the property is because of lawsuits. I am strictly prohibited from doing anything that is not inside the property line, and would be fired right away if I broke up a fight outside of the bar.
Super Cute. I work at a bar and I have never heard of that shit at all. As soon as they leave the property we have nothing to do with them. If they dive out in the road headfirst into a car outside our bar, we take zero blame legally for it. I have worked at a bar where a guy got on his bike, drove off and later crashed and died (happened a year before I started working at that bar) and no legal action was taken against the bar for serving him drinks.
