Hey! Loving the content. Question - do you think I could expect similar results with (nearly) no following on Spotify to begin with? I have a 300$ budget for my upcoming song, but even if I'm lucky and I get 0.2$ per conversion that's only 1500 conversions - which still isn't really enough to get the algorithm rolling, right? Any advice? or any minimum budget you'd say running ads is not worth it under with no streams coming from other sources? Thanks!
Yes! Release Radar is up for grabs, there is no way of knowing what your boost is but if the campaign is running great and data is positive for Spotify algorithm that your song is hitting all the marks (i.e. playlist adds, saves, etc) then you will get a release radar boost might be 500, might be 1000 there is no way to tell. Hi, I don't get your last question... Ads no worth it? Don't worry about the conversions so much. Let's say you are getting a 50 cent click rate but people are streaming your song 3streams per 1 listener that is amazing and your save rate per listener is above 50% and you playlist adds are just under the save rate percentage these are all different benchmarks but if the song is popping but you don't think the ad is, the song may be performing a lot better then you think. Just keep monitoring your numbers in Spotify for Artists. You have a great voice! Keep up the great work!
My experience and other artists I know, it kinda sucks, no point, especially if you are going to run ads, if you aren't going to run ads, I would highly recommend pushing all the tools you have to promote you music.
It on the ad page where you upload your video/ad visual. And it is under headline then description and then under description is "call to action" there you have. a menu of options, such as listen now, learn more, etc
Engagement = conversions campaign which is what you want. You want to engage an audience to click on your link to listen to your music. "traffic" will just bring people to your social usually and they won't convert, that is good to boost your page or a post from ig/fb
