I love seeing history restored. My closest to a wz29 is my 660 1940 "K98k" that still has 1939 and 1940 markings from poland before Steyr got their paws on it.

I did a repair similarly on a bubba-ized original turked gewehr 88/05/35 stock, and on an 88/05... Lucky to find on ebay cracked stocks that were good in the areas i needed...the joints are hidden by the front barrel bands, you absolutely cannot see the repairs!

The logic of those gun buybacks eludes me, "I'll give up this historical piece to be destroyed, this will stop gun violence for sure"?
