I loved how you broke down the difference between FBA & FBM. I still haven't decided which one "I" should do. I just started in the reselling business. Currently using ebay, mercari, and facebook market place. I feel that Amazon though, is by far the most popular for buyers, getting started as a seller is definitely scary though, but I appreciate all the information you have given!!
Thanks for a such an easy explanation for FBA vs merchant shipping. Learnt something new today and also got confirmed on what o thought before. Excellent video and easy to understand!
One very important CON of FBA is that the warehouses aren't climate controlled. We produce products that must be kept at room temps and will lose their effectiveness at temps over 80F and below freezing. FBM gives us the flexibility to keep our products at optimal temperatures, humidity, and cleanliness, to deliver the best possible product to customers.
This is good information because I am thinking about Selling on Amazon and want to handle the packaging, shipping, and other responsibilities. This made it clear on what option to take but still have other questions. But great job and I look forward to other information. Thanks
I'd like to hear more information on FBM being able to sell and ship via Prime and how to enroll, costs, and what's the advantages and disadvantages? Nice job!!!
I do everthing FBA but the fees are killing me I want to start doing some FBM maye 50/50 do you think is OK Thanks a lot is confussing for beginers but old seller we understand very well. I don't speak English very well but I understood everything about FBA and FBM.
This is all very confusing, but I did search specifically for someone to explain if I do the shipping, or if Amazon does. I was not aware of the FBA and FBM difference. I saw another guy doing the merchant process in a video and I thought I would have to do all the shipping and boxing. I would hate to start immediately into this without knowing all the details and information. I would like to do FBA.
You certainly kept my interest which doesn’t happen allot with these types of videos. I am much more clear on FBS VS FBM. Either way fees are high. Being a small business they hurt more. No fee breaks for us. Thank you Diana Diana’s Sprouted grain Free granola!
Thanks for the video. Currently doing research on how to start selling on amazon, well explained and helps me on my first step.. Will watch more of your video and hopefully can start selling on Amazon soon!!!thanks
Great video. When choosing FBM, am I obliged to use a courier to send my products to Amazon? or can I personally bring it to Amazon warehouse? with this I can save shipping cost from my side. Ty!
So I want to flip merchandise I want to start off with retail arbitrage ( I do not have a lot of money to work with) I know a lot of what I am doing and have tested the waters and am ready to dive in, just one question, I'll have a very small inventory to start so...FBA or FBM?
Great question. You have to go into FBA to get the Prime badge! Just make sure to factor those costs into your price/margins to make sure you're making a profit!
my question is if we want to win buy box what are steps we should follow if we are doing FBM and what are the cheapest services in USA to fullfil the orders by customers.
Just signed on as an FBM. I just can’t seem to understand if we get credits for shipping with a professional account. Read that individual accounts do.
Why can't you do both FBA and FBM? Even with same asin? I can't seem to find anything to help me figure that out. I could use some help on how to do that. I am a victim of long term storage fees, and have had to pull almost all my products out of Amazon storage! What do I do now? My PSI is low mainly because I recently took on another job to make ends meet and haven't devoted the time to my Amazon interests as much as I should have. (The $800+ LTSF didn't help at all.) Thanks! Great info!
great video. U helped me sneak out of amazon selling which i was hoping to start . I better concentrate on my own website and parallel sales platforms. cheers.
Our packages average around 10-12 pounds each, and our orders are usually 4 or more packages per shipment - even higher at times, so shipments to the same address can get very heavy and even need to be on pallets at times. Does FBA make sense for heavy weight items? We already have the inventory in place on a continuing basis.
And my brain is burning with so much info that I can’t process at once. So what happens if I do FBA but I have all the products at my own ware house what’s the step after that? Do I send all of my inventory to Amazon for them to have it stored and then they take care of the rest? I’m just confused with this FBA thing
what's going to happen if I have too much inventories unsold with FBA? what are my options? My concern is management of the inventories - very hard to know how much I should keep in stock
If you begin using FBA, how hard is it to switch to FBM later, if you wanted to? Also with FBM, does Amazon give you supply chain signals for reorder times/volumes? Thanks for the video!
probably won't get a response to this. but how does fba "work" like i purchase a product then instead of shipping directly to seller i just ship to an amazon warehouse?
This was a question I just thought of and the information was absolutely amazing. Precise and well delivered. Does amazon have insulated storage. I make natural products and wanted to know if I wanted to do FBA instead of FBM, does Amazon have refrigeration storages and if so is it more expensive. Thank you for your video.
Let's be honest, if that's what this channel is all about. As of right now for around $5,000 to $10,000 I could at least get started in FBA amazon and SO LONG as I and my products are in COMPLIANCE unlike those whom are now being sued and/or being banned from amazon, but let's not worry about such little things in life. Let's just throw caution to the wind and see what happens as the majority of RU-vid FBA gurus refuse to even mention for some odd reason.
Thank u so much great info. Just a question in FBM, can i store my product with me then when i sell it I send it to the warehouse to ship it? And from where can I start the FBM, where is the start point. Im still learning, having my product and try to sell using amazon Thanks Farah
I have a question that product hunting is very time consuming procedure, will you recommend me some best methods and hacks to achieve in minimum time...
If there's an area or industry that you know well (for me it's computers) then you'll have greater insight and intuition about the products and how well they sell/the general price and profit you'd make. I think it's best to start with things you already know; or if somebody you know knows quite a bit about a particular industry then you could ask them, or get their help with information about it, then you could search for things that they recommend. Once you have an industry in mine, do a google search for "[industry name or product] wholesale/liquidation", or something similar. liquidation.com is a good place to source things, or you could try cratewholesale.com or even a2z.bstock.com. Is there any industry that you're familiar with? Or something that you buy a lot of?
Good question - overall, product hunting is going to take time. The more time you put into mastering the act of searching will allow you to find more and more product at a faster pace. There just are specific things that you can't get around, however you can utilize tools to speed up your processes. If you havent yet, check out my guide on utilizing Product Discovery! Going through those videos will allow you to gain a better understanding of Product Discovery, and ultimately get quicker results to hunt for great products! -Cam
Do FBM has a dropping point for pack items? or we can drop in the post office for delivery as long as it has the shipping label on it? thanks to clarify
