Man These Interviews with these (Chicago) Guys be sooooo interesting to me. They have me locked in every time. I have never seen a love hate relationship like these guys have for each other. This man said a guy that he doesn’t care for was going places in life. But first the man said a prayer for the young man. I think what it seems like is the hardest part with a lot of them is that they aren’t ready to put the gang life behind them and the rap life in front of them. You can take a person out of their “hood” but you can’t take their hood out of them type thing. A person has to want to live a different life and if Von and lil Jeff wanted to be put sliding and shooting at people they knew what came with that. They both might have thought they were invincible but clearly they weren’t. Known of us are. Bullets don’t have no names. They were both insanely young but technically they were both grown ups who made their own choices. I do agree at some point their friends individually or collectively should have told them both to sit their asses down and chill but I imagine the life’s they were living comes with a HUGE adrenaline rush. We can put some blame on their friends for not trying to stop them but also their friends are living that life too so they don’t see the real danger in that shit even though they should. However the majority of the blame aside from whoever killed them also goes on them as well. I feel like the majority of what happens in Chicago is a massive tragedy. I wish all of their life’s could have been different. I could imagine my siblings dating a opp or my brother or cousin technically being a opp it’s fucking madness on all sides for real. Most of these guys if they aren’t related they grew up together and have known each other damn near their whole lives. Some of these oops talked more with each other than I was able to talk to my actual friends in certain persons in my life. I was working over time and going to school full time so I didn’t have any free time and if I did I spent it sleeping. Sorry for the long ass message sometimes I get to typing and blabbing.
