@@Losttribes88people been recognizing and pointing that out especially black women some men just refuse to release trauma and grief and it can turn bad when that happens. Black men need to seek therapy and other methods like yoga and meditation techniques a therapist is perfect for if a person doesn't want to discuss certain things with people around them for different reasons, a lot of men frown upon therapy and brush it off. I know because I studied psychology and did therapy with people and most were black women and children and I studied psychology due to overcoming and learning about how to to deal with my own trauma and grief I naturally always loved psychology and how the mind works. I encourage men to get a therapist or counselor even case manager but there is also a downside to that for women therapist we get perverts and questions like " what am I getting out of this" as if they expect some spectacular sexual experience or something, a person credentials show what you're getting out of it. So I suggest a male therapist or counselor for men that like to think with their d. There's plenty of therapists, Psychologist and counselor etc of every ethnic background and faith. Thankfully mental health care has diversity now.
Journaling helps, yall men just need to look into ways to decompress my mom did it cooked every day and holidays Saturday we had finger foods, she worked 80hrs a week taking care of 3 children and a grandchild with no help yet she made sure we were nurture happy and well kept she even would have her fun on Saturday by going out. She held in a lot while doing all this including being graped in the past and abused, so I learned a lot from her and that paved my path to what I do now, I tell my mom I'm proud and appreciate the sacrifice we never needed for anything and she rarely showed when she was worried about a bill. Now my daughter is grown and doing well ahead for her age and definitely been raised the same way except I taught her to speak up when she is going through something.
