Of course not because of the technology ,but the people who got murdered in 80s and 90s were mostly gang bs or drugs things of that nature,and look at the ages . Now you have younger and younger kids who's first crime on record gets them life. kids running people over,mental health all time low,schools ,pandemic kids who missed school for three years,that's a generation of high schoolers who have no problem resolution skills,no social skills,don't know how express themselves. You know how hard it was to get access to a fully automatic weopan for a criminal in say 2000s,now kids order sears to make there ars or Glocks fully autos. I remember when my neighborhood got bad and wed hear shootings almost daily for every other day,but was gang related .gangs for dismantled in my neighborhood,now I hear brrrrrrrt when I hear shots,and I hear it all night,last Christmas I heard shooting all night ,I don't remember ever hearing Christmas gunfire besides a random shotgun or something,new years?I heard gun shots and no sirens till like 3 4 am,it sounded like a shootin range. Society is decorating,80,90s had a high crime rate because you could get away with it ,a lot of MFS do crime now and they could care less ,the mind frame is different. I feel bad for the kids and the old people honestly
