Great interview. Bringinng up Shasta and Dillon brought back so many memories. Always wondered how Shasta is doing now. It would be great to have an update on her if she is willing. Prayed so many nights for her recovery both physically and mentally.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.. her house has recently burnt down.. not even joking. Search her name and there should be a couple of articles about it and there is a gofundme if you're willing to help.

As a parent, this is so terrifying. Imagine a serial killer seeing kids playing outside, fixating on them for days and returning to do all that. I hope Shasta is doing well ❤️‍🩹

The Groene case was beyond disturbing. You can still read that loon's rambling blog. Or at least you used to be able to. He tortured those kids beyond anything I've ever heard of. If memory serves, Shasta's bio dad had throat cancer... I looked her up years ago and i believe she had a child and was possibly struggling. It's all so sad.... We didn't have the true crime community like we do today. I wish Shasta would write a book or come out if she needs money or counseling, etc. I know people would support her. My heart truly goes out to her and her father.

Search her name on Google and you will find articles about her house being burnt down a couple of months ago. Such a horrible thing to happen to a person who has been through so much :( There is a gofundme to donate to her cause.

This case, one of the first I ever learned about in real time, is still the most horrific case ever. It breaks my heart just thinking about it.

Nate, I am still into this case and hearing these interviews are filling in some of the questions. Also, your coverage was my main information so I am use to watching you daily, guess this puts me in detox. I am pleased the judge sealed those documents. I recently heard about a book of deceased victims that a ex cop had published, this book was found at the home of the accused LISK in NY. At least these victims are safe from any more harm.

Thank you, Nate! I ❤ the note on Agent Hart’s shelf (from his son). This interview has restored my faith in law enforcement after watching the Karen Read trial.
