What if the dates on the loan application don't match. That the borrower signed on the pre-approval and the rest of the docs are dated days latter. Plus the borrower never had the loan application in his closing files and that he had to go to the Title Escrow office to obtain the original which doesn't have the brokers signature on it. Plus the copy he went back and obtained from the broker had been dated approx. two weeks latter without the borrowers signature on it.
Looking at this video years later after already long losing the house and a large down payment. Well, I did reported it and never received any response. How was I to know from the ' Audit of the Department of Justice’s Efforts to Address Mortgage Fraud ' - March 2014 - that the FBI doesnt address individual home mortgages. If you ever get defrauded by the mortgage broker, you'll find out no department investigates it.
+Steve Smith You and millions of innocent homeowners ... and the FBI wouldn't lift a finger to help citizens or go after the real criminals.. But when a couple of black gang members in san diego did what the banks were doing (on a way smaller scale) 6 to 7 states joined forces and immediately took action. Within weeks they were arrested, tried and convicted .. RICO.. 30 years. and still they let the Bankers continue they're crime spree ... lol wow! Brazen acts of terrorism by bankers after all that's happened and they're rewarded with bonuses and free homes through grand theft... Way to go guys!!
90% of the mortgage fraud out there is perpetuated by the Mortgage company not the consumer. Most of the time the person giving the mortgage HELPS people lie on these applications.
