Withholding tax on buying & selling of properties is set to increase. The FBR is going to increase property valuations rates, which are used to calculate the withholding tax (236K for buyer & 236C for seller). Old CGT law is applicable on Properties acquired before 30th June, 2024. New CGT law is applicable on Properties acquired on or after 1st July, 2024.

IMF told govt to increase fbr valuation to 90% of market value. If Dhai-r plot market value is 02 crores fbr value according to IMF should be 01 crore 80 lacs.

Someone Buy property in 2020 for 10Million PKR. Now that Property is being sell in 7.5Million PKR. Abb bhi Uss per Gain Tax Pay Karnna hoo Ga Jaab Kay yahan tou Seller ko 2.5Million ka Loss ho Rahha hay??? . . . Koei Iss point per Baat hi Naheen Kartta! . . Technically No, but Our Government Office guys will not understand it and they will calculate some false amounts and put on Seller!
