FBW A380X MSFS EFB First Look! 

I personally don't give a monkeys arse about it - as goes with any other EFB in other addons. Had enough EFB hype from PMDG now it seems FBW is following foot...thus delaying the project more and more.. 8+ month since last update that didn't involve an EFB. Now when I think of the FBW A380..I can't help but think of Level-D and their promise to make a 757.

Well this wasn't an announcement but something we found on github. I don't believe they have ever made an announcement showcasing the A380's EFB.@@JustAnOrdinarySimmer

It's the same of the a32nx, so it's quite easy to use, i hope there are gonna be more than one jetbridge.

​@dibya_gamer6357 Yup. While also being free. PMDG have been shameless however, they did say that after the releases of the EFB and 777, they will restructure their business in order to release products much faster than the current 3 whole years.

So far FBW has done nothing but make EFB's. at least PMDG can produce a product from scratch and release in a relatively timely manner...Meanwhile FBW.................

@@JustAnOrdinarySimmer lol that was me being mad at PMDG. I absolutely love the 737. It's the only thing I fly now however at the time they were lowkey sluggish with the EFB

@@SimulateAL people are dreaming if they think its coming this year. Sometime in 2024 surely.

My guess is with when MSFS2024 are released sometime next year and is included as a "default" aircraft for the sim. I think it's a very clever market strategy from Asobo/Microsoft to do with FBW like what they did with iniBuilds.

At least PMDG can release their aircraft

@@Mr.Cheeseburger24 Bro, PMDG has made the DC-6 and 737NG family already - FBW so far have modded the default A320 and taking donkeys years to make an A380.. so far FBW are nothing more than EFB developers.

@@JustAnOrdinarySimmer EFB developers.... Yet in the 32NX you'll get the more advanced systems simulation in any other sim.... I guess people is never happy even with free stuff....

@@leloginquitu Funny, wasn't that long ago you had to descend manually in the FBW modded Asobo A320..not exactly advanced. But this topic is regarding the A380, why mention the A320? it was a piggyback..now FBW are trying to hype up a study-level A380 and so far, unsurprisingly, have only really shown off an EFB and wingflex. Obviously punching above their weight - I appreciate freeware stuff, but when a team hypes up a "study level" addon for free, it puts other ACTUAL developers in a position they won't consider making it, even if it was better in many ways. Level-D done the same with the 757, put other developers like PMDG off the idea of making one them self even though at some point it was considered. I think if FBW kept their mouth shut about the A380, we would already have a decent A380 in MSFS regardless how advanced the systems are, but there is not because it's well know that apparently FBW are making a study level one for free and yet here we are 3-4 years later and quite frankly the project looks dead and FBW feed us the same old bull shit of "we are all volunteer developers blaa blaa blaa". Looking at it from another angle, FBW openly state they are all volunteer developers that do not get paid at all, but the FBW are happy to take donations - I wouldn't be half surprised if a lot of people have given up giving FBW their time to work on such a hyped up project and not getting paid knowing the main man behind FBW is taking donations. On top of the fact the A380 is seldomly used compared to others.. I guarentee we will see the PMDG 777 long before the A380 and by which time a lot of people will just give up hope and the entire FBW A380 project loses steam and the company crumbles leaving just the odd A32NX update here and there, which is already happening BTW. Maybe FBW should take a step back, either pay developers or just simply release as it is and bring it up to date as they did with the A320
