This is a new skill move that was added to FC 24 in the latest update, 'Festival of Football'. The skill move is called the 'Double Touch Lane Change'. It is very similar to the 'La Croqueta', but the animation is much smoother. You need at least a 4 star skiller to perform this skill move.
In today's video, I will show you step by step how to do the Double Touch Lane Change on FC 24 on PS5, PS4, Xbox X/S & Xbox One.

Is this skill effective against AI defenders?

I think it depends on the difficulty of the AI. If you are playing against ultimate difficulty AI then I don't think this skill move will be effective.

You must be doing something wrong. It's either you have L1 and L2 inverted or your player doesn't have 4 star skill moves.

How do you perform that celebration that mbappe has done?

It's a default Mbappe celebration, which means that only Mbappe can do it. To perform the celebration, score a goal with Mbappe and press X (if you're on PS5) or A (if you're on Xbox).
