Maybe if you guess your opponent’s formation you don’t change it but have an option between: 1. Additional trump card 2. Additional special position change 3. An additional guess at one position

2 benefits you could have for guessing the formation could be being able to have another guess on your board per round. So if you have 3 players to guess you could write 4. The other could be you could prevent one player being guessed. You could say I am going to protect salah and put salah in your team. Doesn’t matter if salah is on the board of the other player he can’t be removed from the squad.

Bonuses for guessing formation (one to choose before guessing players): - one extra stinker - one extra position change - one extra guess (so for example you guess two keepers at the end)

Id like if the formations were random it would make squads more interesting bcuz everyone wont use the same 3-4 formations. If a person doesn't like the random one they can choose a trump card. This would also make SBSDs where no players are guessed slightly more interesting AND having a squad where the marquee player cant play in his original position would be dope.

I don't even think the endurance part - as in running a marathon (or more) every day for a year - is the most impressive part. Like don't get me wrong that's mental in itself but doing all of that across Africa is what makes it stand out. Miles upon miles in completely rural parts of the world, challenging environmental conditions from deserts to rainforest, danger of getting seriously ill without immediate medical help, being apart from your family / loves ones for so long... Mental achievement

I think if someone guesses formation then there should be a random forfeit wheel with things that both help the guesser or hinders the opponent, things including: No chem breakers Gold cards only 2 x position changers Player reveal ( The opponent has to revel a position of guessers choice, cannot be turned into bronze/ guessed after) League/ nation block (guessers choice) Button change (opponent has to change their button layout to guessers pick) Block (guesser gets one block for a correct pick from opponent ) Camera change (guesser changes opponents camera to what ever they wish) 5 min down time (opponent has to put their controller down for 5 in game mins) Extra guess (for every section) Player switch (guesser get to say player switch to one player opponent chooses and opponent has to switch that player to another player) 2nd marquee (guesser chooses one player (must be previous marquee from another episode) and the opponent has to get them on full chem as normal)

if you guess a formation, at the end of the squad building section, you can choose the option of mixing up the opponents team, and guessing a position. (the marquee player gets put in goal so they can't be guessed) the guessed position can be turned from gold to bronze, and vice-versa. if a bronze that a player guessed is selected, the original player chosen for that position is used.

If you do want to change the formations,You could make it so guessing the formation symbolises something else. For e.g you could either change their formation, or have something like a second trump card. I think a good idea would be a player blocker; before someone says what players they want, you can call out that you want to block your opponent from having a player, I think this shouldn’t include keepers tho. This would be a fun idea since if there’s only 3-4 players that would get chem, blocking a player would make it easier to guess the player.

How about for guessing the formation, you get to switch two of the oppositions players positions (other than the goalkeeper) of your choice at the end of the guessing. This keep it position and formation based but makes it more rewarding and fun. @AJ3

Throwback to guessing the formation and having the option to have an extra pick 1 round, but ive always thought that guessing formation is quite difficult and guessing it should get you a big reward, such as 1 extra pick every round! Would make it much more spicy for the victim!!

How about the ability to make a player 3 chem if a formation is guessed - not as good as a chem breaker but still can be used for spicy teams or instead of using a chem breaker you can use the original for chem but then upgrade it to its best version

I think a good one would be to let you opponent guess an extra player in one section. I remember once I think it was a marcelo sbsd against james, he guessed the formation and had that option. And he wrote down 3 CBS and a goalie for the final section. That could be fun to bring back. not too sure why it was removed but maybe it was just forgotten.

Also with the guessing the formations, have these 3, change the formation, 2 position changes or 2 chem breakers but they cant be the same type/icon and hero counts as 1 and fire and ice or radioactive counts as the other, seems abit jack54 but everyone will get it soon enough

At the end of the squad building, it would be useful to choose when to use the trump card. When you guess the LW you use a trump card, you could guess CB and GK and then choose to put Pickett in goal and the slick CB

I'd keep the guessing formations, but it's fun for there to be more options; you can do either an extra radioactive specifically (keeps it guessable, limited options), an extra position change, an extra trump card, an extra guess.. I'd personally go with if your formation gets guessed you scroll through most used nations (like in Team Takedowns none of that rule) and ban one nation for the building, so they have less players to consider when guessing.

Here's an idea Andy ‼️. Since guessing a formation correctly is rare: If the person guesses the other's formation, they keep that knowledge to themselves. Normal squad building resumes. 👍🏽 At the end of the squad building, the person reveals the SURPRISE that they guessed the formation! Now the other person has to select a formation at random and fit the same 11 players they chose into that new formation. Bound to cause players to be out of position and off chem. There is the potential that the person selects a random formation that ends up being fine for his existing players which is a nice saving grace/counter. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I benerfit for guess formation could be a supersub that can be guessed so before the game if someone guess formatoin you could get like a 92 under sub that csn be guessed by the oppent and the sub csn only be used at half time

I liked the rule in i think Fifa 21 where if formation was guessed you had the option of one extra guess per section. Is good when its hard squads around players i.e CR7 where saudi and portugese come really guessable and makes more interesting squads

A cool benefit for guessing the formation could be a “safe card”. A safe card is that the first player the other one guesses, will not be guessed if it gives sense? That you’re safe on the first guess. Then you can gamble and go more obvious for a good/expensive player, because if it would be written down, it won’t change the outcome

if you guess someones formation you should be able to guarantee a position safe or if your opponent guesses a player the first one is still safe but the 2nd correct guess is back as normal and can be changed.

If your formation is guessed then instead of the other player getting extra chemistry breaker, you should not be able to use a chemistry breaker yourself to keep the formation. It would make it even more fun to watch for players from random league and random nation then

What if upon guessing your opponents formation, besides choosing what formation your guess uses, you also get a “shield” in which you get to protect any outfield position (bar the GK) from being guessed. Eg. would be if you wanted to use a bait LB like Alphonso Davies so you get to shield LB and guarantee getting him.

One idea I got was that if you guess the formation, you could have one extra guess. For example if your opponent has two strikers and one cam, you could guess 3 st and 1 cam or 2 st and 2 cam. And you could use it just ones. If you used the extra guess on the attack you will not have it in the rest of the episode.

I would argue you need to do 2 things: - All guessed players must fit the chemistry profile of the chosen player or as close as possible (To make guessed players used better) - Have a random formation wheel perhaps

I'd say if you guess the formation, you can apply whatever instructions you want to the Marque player. Say, for example, if it's a defender you put him on aggressive interceptions or a midfielder to cover wing instead of central.

Negating 1 of the guesses from the board before putting your players in any 1 section. Eg. before telling your players for the section you can cancel out 1 of the guesses without knowing who they guessed like number 1 or 2 like that

An idea, once someone guesses the formation, it removes the opportunity to use a chemistry breaker. This makes the planning redundant, and easier to guess, which seams to me like a good punishment. Previously I liked the changing of formation because the planned squad does not work anymore, this way you keep that in. There for more players to get hit ;)

Maybe it’s fun to say. Instead of getting an extra trumpcard you can take away your opponents trump card. Wich is influential for positions like gk. Or get a page out of capguntom’s book and make it so that when you guess the opponents formation you can get a player to force him to get an player form a league outside of the top 5.

Even if the formation isn't bad forcing the marquee player out of their ideal position or forcing them to change their teams they thought about ahead of time is big so I think its still an important aspect.

If you guess a formation instead of saying 2 trump cards, you could do the whole guessing then at the end the opponent does a search and discard and whoever they pick they change that card to a trump. 2 trump cards only work if you guess correctly. This way they get a benefit for guessing the formation.

So Russ (Hardest Geezer) has been doing these things for a few years now. He ran from Istanbul to London. During his africa run he: Got seriously ill multiple times including Rhabdo and severe food poisoning, nearly had to stop coz a back injury, was robbed at gun point and kidnapped in the Congo so I think the name is justified. That aside he seems like a really sound guy

I dont get it with the formation, obviously the result should either be a safe guess, so the opponent puts down a position (except GK and lone striker) and whoever gets put there is out regardless of who it is but obviously u get one guess less in that round when u decide to use it. or it should be get two extra guesses at some point in the guessing

Give your opponent the 343 with a LW and RW because EA decided it would be the only 3 back formation where you can't have the LM and RM come back on defense, so theyre stuck with 3 CBs
