Social media in Career Mode - This feature has been in the game before with Alex hunter Live Games - Again this is not a new feature, back in fifa 09-14 they had live moments, were you can jump in real matches and play. Again a pointless feature. All the fans ask for is realism
I personally think jump in a season is really good especially late in the year you’ll be able to try to save teams from relegation or win a title charge
Yup like many others, watch them get bored of it in a few weeks of playing. It’s exactly the same career mode as fc24 with a few updates big wow. Nothing special..
What we really need is player data not being reset after each season, I.e goals scored, match ratings etc … it’s like you are starting a brand new career mode every single season with zero information on how players have performed over their career 🤷♂️ just really stupid to me when managing my own players or trying to scout new players …

Mat I’ve always liked you and been around watching you for a very long time but the amount of glazing in this video is bazaar because they haven’t added really anything that adds to the experience of being a manager, just more pointless additions that we don’t want

@@ChiefGlosa Yes but also we gamers should select things we want absolutely reject what we don't! And it's much easier to reject now than ever. FC 24 looked and felt like an unauthentic game (I got it for 3 Euros btw) and FC 25 graphics and players movement also looks bad. If you still go get it..I don't know man! Also do you actually think the difficulty or the AI will let you have satisfying CM experience even if you like these "new features" which were in earlier games? Or will it be a frustrating one like always?

Women’s career mode is something I am looking forward to tbh. They teased it abit with the Women’s World Cup and I actually enjoyed the game play, as it is refreshing since women move differently on the pitch and players play differently, and there are less “superstars” with crazy stats so tactics play a big part. Those who are thrashing this should hold their judgment until it’s out and actually playing it.
My opinion on the features: Live start points/ Snapshots : More like a gimmick feature. I doubt many are going to use it more than once or twice. Customisation: Very useful and much needed feature. Match Intros: Idk how they were dumb enough to think removing it was a good decision. They were anyways skippable. FC IQ: The idea is good but we'll have to see how much it actually effects the experience. Youth Academy: Again good changes. But hopefully there is some aging features. Women's Career: Great addition. The change of men to women's team is kinda awesome feature imo. Morale Meter & Press Conferences: I hope there is some way to turn these off in customisation as well. The press conferences soon get boring so if possible give a way to toggle the whole cutscene and just answer the question for the boosts and the morale feature gets annoying at times. Overall good changes but still some minor things like kit customisation, sponsorships, ticket prices all which were old features could have been included to make a proper overhaul. Right now it feels like the main feature is just the youth academy one rest are just old stuff that they now give options to turn on or off. FC IQ could be great or may turn into some annoying part of the game like scouting training etc was for some.

Can EA please add manager transfer to this game. Can AI managers get sacked when they under perform just like the one playing the game?? Once players retire some can be hired as coaches to take over real coaches for poor performance. This will make FC sick
I just want more realistic transfers. Build an algorithm where contract length, wages and age also play a role in the transfer fee, not just their rating and potential!
YES! Make players untouchable and have transfers make sense. I see too often that the premier league clubs end up being TERRIBLE in a few seasons time. Like arsenal will sell Saliba, Gabriel, martinelli and Ben white and replace them with some random 80 ovr 31 year olds. MAKE THE OTHER TEAMS GET BETTER TOO
I would love if youth players could gain playstyles, like if my winger crosses the ball in a lot, he gets whipped pass, or if I have a cb take freekicks all the time, he gets deadball, or a striker gaining finesse shot… that would be amazing but idk it’d be kinda subjective as to when a player can gain one
If the game still can't keep track of player stats from season to season, that proves as an inditement of how the developers don't care about the simple yet impactful things.
They can add pitch invasions with a tank but you forget about satisfaction playing this game. After all these years, FIFA 12 - now, if you still think it can happen it's just sad
Wouldnt it be nice to have icons in your manager career, for an example, signing Ronaldinho to Barcelona or zidane to real madrid and coaching them and watching them grow over the seasons! No just as a player career but a Icon manager career
Finally ea doesnt care about ego centric gamers who say they must skip intros and cutscenes now they can disable and we who love an in depth careermode can enjoy all the new features brilliant⚽❤️
Live start point is basically start today in NBA 2K which I’ve been asking for years to come to fifa.. But i can see why it’s taken them so long to implement & I’m even shocked they are doing it because I’m just going to wait for winter sale & then use the new start today. It’s unbelievably good news for us.
I wish if they created a huge database of managers and managers get sacked in the game. How awesome will this be. Contracts as well would have been a huge W like you sign for a team for 2 seasons and you didn’t do well so they don’t renew with you. These simple things will make career mode great.
@@mgh Please do that Matt, that would be a game changer. I mostly do YA driven saves, so when the board have an objective to raise the average squad age to 28-29, that ruins the fun for me.
@@mghplease ask the ea creators to get rid of contract objectives on player career and bring back the loan feature where you can request a loan. Also ask them will there be negotiations cutscenes in the player career mode.

Player career mode needs a big improvement, the way u transfer teams is horrible, you should get a couple offers at the end of the season and pick, not this “oh get 20 assists as a striker”. They should want you depending on the players they have and how good you are not these random requirements. Because why am I getting offers from the championship if I’m 93 rated. Make it so you can choose to go on transfer or loan in January which was scrapped this fifa
Exactly, in fifa before i had to hand in a transfer request and then save and load the game so many times untill accidently a good offer came. Now this year was unplayable i had 27 goals in my first eredivisie year, but to go to psv i had to score 16x outside the 16 meter and 77 goal contributions , what a dumb thing to add to a game 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
load of crap, the real questions are, does the ball still stays with them after i tackle? when u slide inside the box and get the ball is it still a pen? when i pass with a trough ball does it get to the player i aim or will it automatically end in the opponent feet? when i take a corner do i still concede a 100% goal at the other end(ProClubs)? do i still win 5-0 against City/Madrid/PSG and loose to notarealteam united with bunch of 30 overall players from the 79 division?
Imagine they took a leaf out of NBA2K’s book and added a league full of classic teams to ‘kick off’ mode. AC Milan 07’ United 99’ Arsenals invincibles, Brazil 2002! Nobody cares about the adidas all stars anymore
Or at least let the public put in their own data bases. Like in 2k before they added scenarios you could start from 2000 with a roster someone created.
Fair play to EA. FINALLY some substance to career mode! And the pre-match intros are SOOOO IMPORTANT!!! The Youth Academy stuff is awesome too, thank the LORD.

Most of these "new features" (social media - which was in Alex Hunter player CM, live start - which was in 13, 14) won't even work at all or will be buggy! This is a game where it is impossible to loan a player in, have they fixed it in FC 24? Don't know That's when you (people who do not learn from experience) realise you've been fooled, again! Please try to understand. If the intention was to make career mode enjoyable you'd get, The ability to increase stadium capacity and design, with the profit you make. You wouldn't have to press buttons to scout for each and every player in your preliminary scout report in GTN, they're just wasting your time. If you wanted to scout certain players first a priority function will take care of that. You'd get an actual difficulty where you're in control of the match. Right now if you lose you know it was not because you played worse than the AI and if you win you know it is only because the game allows you to. Not to mention the difficulty is too hard or too easy. World class is too easy for me and legendary is too difficult.
Things I want in future FC games. Lets make sure EA sees this. -The ability to Edit the hairstyle of regen players. -The ability to apply to managerial jobs at any club. -A trophy room. ADD A TROPHY ROOM! -Players gaining legendary status at the club after being there for a long time. -Player and manager career records. Being able to see a player's career records and number of clubs they've played for, how many goals and assists they've had. -Manager contract negotiations. Being able to negotiate contracts with the club as a manager. -Being able to spend the money you earn as a manager on SOMETHING, ANYTHING. -A manager office at the club. An office you can use to manager your team. Make the office upgradeable. -Being able to switch between arcade and simulation mode would be epic. I've been playing this game for a long time. I want a hardcore simulation mode. Please EA give us these things and I will throw money at you. This is what I want to see in career mode. I have dropped over 500 hours into FC24.
This sounds great! I only ever play career mode and I've never understood why we don't get full customisation options to build our careers as we see fit. Huge step in the right direction, can't believe it took 20 odd years to get it LOL
Player walk out and handshake with league and club music pre Match has to make a return surely. Classic kits why was this removed such a great feature can add depth to a career mode when a few seasons in as you have the option for another kit
They should just make transfers realistic and hard. Just like Football Manager. Also they should give new transfer budget based on profits not that every year you get an improved budget.
EA have got to introduce Classic teams into the game. Like iconic teams from the past, '18 Madrid, '15 City, '11 Barca, '08 Man United, with all the classic teams and kits, kind of like in NBA 2K. I think that could be a game changer
I just really one 2 things for the career mode. 1 be able to use a copa libertadores/sudamericana team to start a career mode (I want to choose Guayaquil’s Barcelona to start my career as both manager or player). 2 to have the old training & goals system where each training helps you to get a higher stat in what you want AFTER you max out your level in players career mode (so if I made a 95 striker that only has 50 passing, I want to have challenges like do 100 short passes to increase short passes or have my player training in passes to increase my pass stats). And a nice + would be that they upgrade all options for when you create a club (for example be able to use one color your shirt and a different one for your shorts when selecting my teams uniform; or be able to build your team’s stadium selection where this is going to be and choosing how it’s going to look from outside and inside, and if you want to upgrade from a 10k spectators stadium to a 15-20k spectators you need to pay for that upgrade and you won’t be able to use the full or part of the stadium for sometime while this is getting upgraded, same thing if you want to build a brand new stadium you need to pay for the land, construction, etc; or have your youth team to play in your stadium to increase either their loyalty to the club, their current reating or potential, their fame, get better opportunities to sign younger players or get better players from your scouts. (Having your youth team look like a team would be nice to. Having a keeper, defenders, midfielders and strikers and no just the players you scout))
same for manager career mode too, as a coach you need to ask for increament in real world and teams needs to come to you and you can also discuss with them the years and your salary, not only apply for jobs with fixed salaries forever unless you changes team
The snapshot/live start point feature kind of reminds me of Scenarios in FIFA 13 PS2 version. I really like that feature and glad to have something similar and more modern.
Their way of fixing something that is broken is to allow us to “turn it on or off”. So many issues in career mode they keep avoiding! Player prices, player growth, player positions 😢
Did anyone find any benefit in relation to pre set play styles, such as Tiki Taka, Gegenpress, etc? I found it counterproductive as you can't really use a custom style of play, without the massive impact that it has on the player's ability to "glue" as a team. Shame because it would've been a good addition if done correctly
With all due respect, but EA should expand more the male career mode instead of wasting time with female... I'm pretty sure the % of players who really care about female football on EA is really small.. and most of people would rather have more 2nd divions so they can use other leagues on career mode or on regular matches and more National teams. Or better open the game so people can add teams themselves etc... let us edit it if you are too lazy to do it
A lot of these features sound good, but you are a EA Game Changer so you basically gotta hype up everything which you do yearly. I only came here to hear about youth academy. Wanted to hear if you could scout countries like Jamaica, but you didn’t go into much details. Just typical generic waffle like a real EA spokesperson.
Finally we can disable the board objectives 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 finally! So many times the youth objective stopped me being teams, love this and the new sliders too!
These changes~improvements to Career Mode (and the overall game in general) is what EA FC 24 should have been to start the new franchise after parting ways with “FIFA”. The community must continue to apply the pressure aka provide constructive criticism/feedback so the EA devs can make this game reach its full potential.
Are scouted and young players still going to max out development at 21 yrs old instead of 26-28-30? Are we still getting game ratings of 7.3 or 8.2 when scoring 5 goals and getting 3 assists? Are players not getting goals still never going to get ratings better than 7.2 no matter how well your team plays? Are we still not going to be able to identify potential growth outside of the youth academy? You say no giant CBs at 15… so that means players can actually still grow in height and muscle until they are 18 or 20? Or are we stuck with undersized players forever? But I will admit I like the idea of playing youth events for added growth. Origin stories sound neat, but was a non-priority compared to all the unimproved fails, year over year.
I swear snap shots where a thing under a different name in old games I swear I used to do that in fifa 08 I remember there would be a game that’s 3-1 to the opposition and you would have you try get a draw things like that so this isn’t even a new feature it’s just one they are bringing back 🤣
We need to be able to customize our jerseys is that so much to ask for? I mean not even the colors. I don't wanna change the colors of man utd just the design of their kit after 10 seasons just playing with the same looking team becomes boring and tedious. Thats why a lot of us , players stop playing the career mode maybe after 5-6 seasons
Better club customisation. Remeber older fifas when you could buy older club kits ?? Let there be a kit builder like 2k's basket ball design a shoe. Alter shirts, shorts and socks. Make customised clubs actually good. Also ....... more leagues there is much more processing power so more teams.
How much is EA paying you? All those features are rubbish, they know what the vast majority of career mode players want. The only way this game is going to change is when 2K release their game and forces them to improve or disappear ( Just like NBA Live that got absolutely trashed by 2k) nothing against you mate, but they dont deserve any hype for their rubbish update ( Thats what every fifa game has been since 2017, and generally for the worse).
I’m very happy about it as it sounds I mean career mode will be more realistic than ever and I hope player career mode will be fun again I am very excited about especially the youth academy because it plays such a big part in football so I’m very pleased to here all this I hope it will be good
I got FC 24 for Rs. 234 which is like 3 euros. Of course it was not worth even that 😂 Believe it or not graphics are laggy and has stuttering issues on PC rtx 3070
EA have to change the transfer balance system within the game! It's always been my biggest criticism of career mode. You shouldn't be able to just buy all the best players in the game within 3-4 seasons. It should be done coinsided with FFP and the amount you get to spend calculated by FFP and the amount of money your club generates based on the size of the club. But also the game needs to be flexible to change clubs situations, so over a 10 year period you can increase your clubs structure by doing things like building a new stadium. But at the expense of have tiny budgets for multiple seasons to follow, while the debt is played off. Also the player overall ratings need to change much more abruptly, as they do in real life. Rashford is a good example of how much a players form can change from one season to the next. Form and overall need to be merged together and go up and down much more abruptly. Also team chemistry is so important and we haven't had it for decades! We should have it and it should be calculated in a very complex way... involving the way the manager plays compared to the player, how long the player has been with the groupe of players, if the player is playing in their favoured position, if the players form is high or low compared to their starting overall etc etc. There are so many ways they could give us a fantastic career mode busting with immersion but they just never do. I've bought the game every year since fifa 97 because I love gaming and football but last year I decided enough was enough. I'm not going to buy the game every year any more with false hope just to be disappointed year after year by a greedy company just cutting and pasting and counting the billions.
If you could sim youth tournaments and your success depended on the level of your youth coach would be awesome. Also I would love it if retiring players had the option to move to the Backroom. In FM I do love putting VVD in the youth academy director role.
Rush needs removing!! Its unrealistic and just a stupid of a decision than removing the pre-match intros.. Replace them with 11 vs 11 Training Matches!! We want Career Mode to be REALISTIC!!

Tell them t add a trophy room in career mode to see your achievements either as a manager/team or Individual/player trophies, and also they need to remove the transfer market scout that doesn't make sense at all to not see the players rating where in real life we know a player overall because we watched it every week, they could move the transfer scout to the potential of a player or how quickly he could develop that's where you could need a scout to tell you if this player is developing fast or slow, or he needs work or whatever, I HOPE YOU'LL SEE THIS COMMENT.
Nice the added proper game intro now, adds to authentic build up. Unfortunately biggest issue in the game is CDM’s still wonder up the pitch and leave backline exposed - unless I actually drag them into position - then the other CDM wonders off
FC IQ has me the most exvited for a FIFA title than I have been in years. It's been so frustrating not being able to recreate playstyles that teams IRL use in game. Also being able to fit in Icons in to modern day teams is cool aswell.
I can't wait for fc 25! I pre ordered the game for my pc. Fc 24 wasn't the best but with sliders the game became much better. Career manager mode is the only reason i buy fifa/fc every year.
I'm an arsenal fan and have been following the women team as well for years and years along side the men's I always wanted a women's career mode to play as the arsenal women's team can't wait for this new challenge for career mode

They really don't listen to the players at all. Can someone explane that adding a career mode for women is more important than the ability to modify kits , add and move teams, coaches of important clubs that do not exist, leagues that do not exist, or even bring back the story mode ?

I don't really care about kits, adding and moving teams will never be a thing because it will allow modders to add new leagues EA doesn't have licenses on top of what we already have. Coaches? I mean, if you want these details - just go and play FM man. And story mode was always ass honestly, it doesn't really belong to FIFA. Proper women career however is something I wanted since FIFA 18. Fans can have different opinions, you know.
