According to their fans Lewandowski was the reason Barcelona were so bad last year and he's not a patch on Suarez yet here he is same age as Suarez banging in goals left right and center while Suarez has been in semi retirement for the last few years Lewy is a genius of a centre forward he's underappreciated by some because he isn't very aesthetically pleasing but he gets the job done. I really hope before he retires France Football do the decent thing and give him the Ballon D'Or he deserved in 2020 , which they stupidly cancelled, you can guarantee it had Messi or Ronaldo been the main candidate they wouldn't have cancelled the awards that year

Some believed it was Lewy, some (like me) believed it was Xavi not getting the best out of the players, etc. Whatever the problem was, fact is Lewandowski wasn't playing well enough last season and he wasn't really fit too. It's about getting the best out of individual players as long as they are talented and fit. A player like Suarez could have played more years at Barca if he had the manager to get the best out of him.
Lewandowski second goal was insane , how did he manage to calmly tap the ball inside the goal which was travelling at such speed! At first I thought it was a lucky deflection but after watching the slow motion replay you can definitely see it was intentional. My man is aging like fine wine 🫡🫡
