The only meta in this game is to run to the by line and do cross field balls. Sure there are many other ways to play the game but they are not “just behind it” the custom tactics are supposed to provide my playstyles but they dont because everyone plays the exact-same way! Out of 20 WL games ill come across two maybe three different formations either a 4-3-2-1 (majority) or 4-2-3-1 and 5-4-1 😂 but from this they all constantly switch the play and run down the by-line its just boring.

I think Nep needs to watch his gameplay and then watch every other content creator’s gameplay and realize all he is doing differently is some small things here and there. Like if i was watching gameplay from the top youtubers in the FC community and you cut out the scoreboard and their facecams i would have a hard time telling the difference from one persons gameplay to the next

This game is the 7th reskin of FIFA 17, with a change in generation of consoles in between. It just keeps getting more and more broken. The best version of this particular build was either 17 or 18. In general te frostbite engine won’t make a good sports game

I genuinely think this is the worst fifa to ever come out. There’s soo many glitches like the goal kicks that go backwards and then makes your defender score an own goal, players just randomly running off and not being able to control the correct player etc. The graphics also seem worse than previous years. I’m really disappointed with the new fifa.

This is the worst take I’ve ever heard. There are only 2 ways to play this game. Cutbacks or spamming crosses to the big man. You can’t pass through the middle as players can’t control a 5 yard pass and the animation is too slow but they can control a 50 yard diagonal ball instantly. There’s no way you believe this is the best fifa game and someone has paid you to say that. Which at this point makes streamers part of the problem because they will help sell this god damn awful game that doesn’t work

OP finesse and Trivela at the start of the year, corner glitches this far into the game cycle, you have to RB/R1 and pass for it to even pass to a player. Hang on to that EA cash man. This game is genuinely one of the worst if not the worst games they have ever made. For the past 2 games i stopped playing after 2 seasons. everyone regardless of their level at the game have all the good players, packing anything except for one or two players is meaningless you can't sell anything for good money anymore so packs are useless and this means the market is useless. They killed one of the most fun ways of grinding the game, the BPM. Everything is untradeable but the pack will cost you 500k. As for the gameplay you need zero skill, give it to the fastest player you have, run down the wing, cut inside and pass and as usual almost no defender can do anything about it because the defending AI is shit and if not this way with the new traits you can just shoot from another stadium and you will score because he has "finess shot plus". Nothing made me want to play other than some objectives to get a useless card that ivam never using, it was like a homework

Think of the meta playstyles in the game, stuff like Aerial, Technical, Whipped pass, quick step, finesse shot, power shot, etc. aside from Power Shot, all of those require you to go down the wing to really get the best use out of them. You’re just doing different things when you get there

I get where you are coming from but even tho there would be multiple ways to play this game still 95% of players you face play the same way which makes you playing different completely pointless for your experience, because every game feels the same. That's because players of this game don't play for fun anymore but because of pack and reward addiction. You also can easily find every broken mechanic and glitch and tactics within seconds if you go on youtube to give you an advantage despite being less skilled than your opponent that just wants to play the game in a normal way. I even had more fun on the shitshow that Fifa 19 was because the playerbase is way to manipulated these days and would sacrifice everything for the easy win.

Even the gameplay is garbage, only way to score is to run near the sidline do 100 passes and then sudden finesse shot boom you score a goal, then you will conceed after your goal because suddenly your players cant move, then you will conceed a last minute goal.
