I always use RT to get up quicker (Not sure if it makes a difference or not but it's habit) And then manually run over to where i need to be rather than using auto position. Then it's just about timing your dive again and of course getting lucky with animations. Sometimes you just don't get the right animation or can't get up in time and there is nothing you can do about it unfortunately. Thanks for watching 😊
I play keeper and when I go to make saves the ball will bounce off of my hands into the goal even on the simplest saves and it causes me to take a lot of blame from my teammates so I was wondering if there was any way to prevent this
Get new team mates haha, no but for real, this game has a serious issue with parrying into your own net or straight to your opponent. It definitely does it less the higher rated you are but it can still happen. If your positioning is good and you timed the dive right, its simply on the game and the animation it chooses for you. You could try a new build but honestly I have seen it happen to goalkeepers using all sorts of builds. Unfortunately I would say there is not much you can do about it. I don't have it too often anymore but it does still happen and its annoying as hell. Goodluck 😫
It depends heavily on what angle the opponent is running at you from, if it's straight on it's a hard because they can go to either side and you don't really have much control over it, if it's from more of an angle it's alot easier to tell where they want to shoot or straight up force them to shoot where you want by positioning yourself to cover one side of the goal a little more, often if you leave your near post a little bit open in those situations and move back to cover it right as they are shooting it's an easy save. You also have the option of coming out, if they take a big touch and you think you can get to the ball first then absolutely do it. This year I don't really come out unless I know I can get to the ball first since animations can be a bit wild when rushing out if they get the shot off before you get to the ball. You can also fake coming out and move back to your line, quite often strikers will shoot when they see you coming out or even try chip you instead of waiting to get closer and having an easier finish. It's all down to practice and repetition, you learn what works and what doesn't over time and at the end of the day it's a 1 on 1, the opponent is favourite to score, so it's not a big deal if they do 😇
