Personaly i find the comparsion to much like realy bad and pretty good. the guy obiously wasn´t prepared whereas the girl clearly had been thought wat to expect, the guy had no clue just went the try luck and it just doesnt work that way, besides he hadn´t the level by far, his level was max an A2. I´d like to see another video like this but with 2 students of a simillar level, there the explanations help to understand what they expect from the students at the exam. I didnt see it so much as juding though but he was a terrible example.
We shouldn't compare the students like we are comparing Memo and Beatrice. They had different lives, live in different countries, studied at different English schools, and maybe had different opportunities to study and to improve their English. Another point is that, being nervous can also contribute to making mistakes like he did, come on, it's a very important test, but not necessarily prove that u are good or not, don't judge too much.

I'm taking my CAE exam tomorrow and I'm actually thinking about drinking a shot or two before facing the Speaking part... perhaps it'll help things flow. LOL
You can always smoke and then have some candy or a chewing gum. Just make sure you spit it out before the test, and into a bin if possible. If not, flush it down the toilet... or swallow it! I'm talking about regular cigarettes by the way, but perhaps some weed would be useful too. xD
Sometimes it would be difficult, because the person that is doing the test with you are really better than you, so that's complicated to show all the things that you really know.
why giving lots of details would be such a bad thing? u demonstrate that you are capable of speaking and not merely get by. at least, this my my own point of view. If examiner wants u to end your speech, they simply prevent u from going on.
That was so unfair you could have recorded a histrionic scene instead of comparing between the the two of them not a fair comparison that was so sleazy and shabby that may destroy him I swear if I was in his place I would absolutely open a case about discrimination !!. ((BTW I have watched all your videos and didn't see any comparison between any of the other students so that may be a racism too !! you people surprise me day by day ))
lol, you are right that could destroy me. I am Memo, this video was taking in 2009. I am looking at this video now and all I can think about is how proud i'm of myself. and how my english have become. all i am mad about is if they are making money out of me being punched this much I want some of it

Sorry, but your English is a disaster, I can barely understand what you are writing. And from what I saw in the video, you didn't prepare for this exam properly.
