Skyler👷🏻 You Had The Right Location And Angle. For Your Shots. When I Seen The Hose Company, Getting🔥 Pushed Out Of The First Floor Store, The Origin Of The Fire 🔥By A Backdraught From The Ceilings. And Their Hose Line Rupturing. Simultaneously 🔥 Firefighters On The Two Floors Above Were Hurriedly Taking The Windows 🪟 Venting, That Caused, The Backdraught But ✋🏼Stopped A Huge 🔥Flashover, But The Fire 🔥Was Already In The Utility Shafts, And Walls Racing Like A Blow Torch, For The Cockloft, l Knew This Old Tenement Style Building Was Kaputt, But FDNY 🚒🚒🇺🇸 Did An Outstanding Job, Saving That Structure And Containing That Fire 🔥🚒 From Spreading To The Exposures, Capeesh 👍🏻🇺🇲

You have the distinction of being the first to mention men "standing around." The routine of firefighting includes rest periods for the firefighters. Each man wears several pounds of gear and may breathe a fair amount of smoke. This, plus wielding a pike and hoses, limits their endurance and effectiveness. In this case, there is very little standing-around to be seen.
