Thank you very much for all of the work and effort you put forth to give us such outstanding coverage. My son just graduated from the FDNY Academy. This is a new experience for me, and I'm enjoying it. Thanks again!
WELL, YOU ARE WELCOME AND THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND FOR THE KIND WORDS AND SUPPORT! CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU AND YOUR SON AND IF YOU LET ME KNOW WHEN HE IS ASSIGNED I CAN GO SAY HELLO AND MAYBE EVEN FILM HIM AT WORK LIKE ALL THE FIREFIGHTING FAMILIES I DEAL WITH ON A DAILY BASIS! THANKS AGAIN! ;o)
He is with Engine 39 on E. 67th St and Lexington Ave. He has been there for just two months. He graduated on April 18th. It's a great fire house. He's still anxious for his first fire! lol.
OH, OK! I HAVE FILM HIS COMPANY BEFORE! I AM SURE HE MIGHT HAVE SEEN SOME ACTION SOMEWHERE ALREADY! THERE WAS A BIG FIRE YESTERDAY DOWNTOWN THAT USED MANY COMPANIES FROM HIS AREA! THANKS! ;o)
How do you put up with all the noise? It may be fun to visit New York for a week but does it ever get extremely annoying living there hearing the sirens constantly going on.
maybe I am missing something but really just walk out in front of an emergency vehicle on blues and twos as we call it here in the UK NO stand well back and let it pass
In New York people don't even care about moving give the right of way to emergency vehicles. They should have a strict law failure to yield to emergency vehicles you get fine plus points off they have cameras today you can see who is blatantly in the way of the emergency vehicle and not moving an inch. it's very uncivilized and very unconscionable... Fire truck in New York are the loudest in the world and yet nobody seems to even notice that they are going by and occasionally move out of the way slowly taking their time!! Taxi drivers are the worst I've seen it with my own eyes they should do something about them start fining them heavily that should work!!
